as they are a plus player I’m happy. Personally I’d go with the best available WR or pass rusher, but I’d also accept a CB or RT as they are also huge needs.

If it is in the air, the ball is his and he will prove it. It's 3rd down and everyone is covered, I'm throwing it to him expecting a first down. That good.

Outside of Lawrence, it's very hard to guess who will be picking (since trades are likely) and what direction they'll go. If the Jets don't want a QB they almost have to trade down, because someone will overpay for that #2 overall pick. If the Jets DO draft a QB, there will probably be a run on QBs and that will push prospects at other positions down the board.

A lot of mock drafts have Smith falling to 11, which seems nuts but isn't impossible. I would be fine with an elite defender at 11; there'll be very good WRs available in the 2nd and even 3rd.

As great as Pitts was this year, TE isn't where I'd use that first rounder, though I wouldn't complain about him in blue.

Random thought: I'd be surprised if the Giants don't pick a RB at some point to replace Lewis/Morris. Barkley/Gallman/rookie.

looks like he will go too early. Maybe Williams from NC or Stevenson from OU.

There's talent/depth there, but you could argue there's no premier player in there worth the open market dollars they could command. There's a lot of warts.

and I do think he will drop. I think he'll be there at 11 and there is a good chance the Giants pass on him for Chase or a player like Surtain.

I dunno, there's a lot to consider ... his injury in 2020, what's his value on the open market, is his head screwed on right, etc. He's really only had one big NFL season that would be commensurate with the type of money free agency tends to deliver. Does he want to play for a contender now or is the money more important. The fact it leaked the Giants wanted to trade for him would put him the watchlist, but we'll see what begins to leak out.

a second contract. We have 3 of the last 6 #1 picks off the team and considered a bust with the 4th, EE maybe another one. This pattern makes building a successful playoff team very difficult. Not going to choose a WR, CB, Edge, or whomever as what is best at 11th pick.

Too much JonC. My father worked that and more to retire early(50's). My mother died that year. He drank himself to death in the years after. Don't ignore the present.

Him, Rosseau, and Farley are on my do not want list. Can live with anyone else. I think mocks linking us to him is just lazy analysis and essentially linking DG to a guy like him.

Robinson and Golliday are No1 guys. No other FA WR is that

You take the best available player at 11. You do not reach or get pigeon holed into a position, or side of the ball.
