They'll find a way, but it would be an interesting test case scenario if NFL scouts had to put together a draft board without the help of measurables. Would teams do better or worse going only by the film?

p.s.--Without all the schmoozing that goes on between the scouts and media at these events, there won't be as many rumors about risers and fallers, which is good and bad, since half of it is misinformation anyway.

Opted out of the season makes this an extremely difficult year to conduct a draft process. It’s really a year when you want to trade down and get as many tickets as you can.

I read where their may be regional combine locations

Looks like there will be official Pro Days with normalized drill scoring and regional medical exams. The Bleacher Report makes it sound like the plan is close to final.

The more robust personal departments will have an advantage.

I think the Giants should have an advantage, especially coaching the East West shrine game.

The risks will be higher....as there is a ripple affect....with scouts not making it on campus, more distance and seperation...

But the Giants have a very in depth personal dept.

will affect players' draft status. Will teams downgrade players who sat out, not only because there's less film, but because they're a risk to sit out another pandemic year if it happens, God forbid?

guys can sweat on each other for 60 minutes plus but can't get measured and run drills?
