On a boring holiday Monday, my wife and I randomly got into a Three’s Company marathon on IFC. I saw BBI’s own John Boni/Montreal Man in the credits a few times. I didn’t know him in-person like others did but enjoyed his stories. The show really holds up to time (and Terri is a smoke-show.)
Because of him, I was able to have dinner/drinks we he and Fred Willard. One of the best nights ever!
I miss John and hope his family is doing well.

That must have been awesome.
Greatly missed.
Really had an eclectic cast and was a precursor to the idea of the Garry Shandling Show almost. They used to get a great assortment of stars coming on - John had a blast with it.
Greatly missed.
AMEN!
She left after the BBI hack.
And for good reason.
Awesome memories.
Only thing close to it now is the Norm MacDonald show on Hulu and Netflix.
It’s awesome, enjoy it before it’s taken down.

I was transitioning to a new email provider and sorting through my contacts the other day. It saddened me to realize how many we've lost over the past 10 years or so.

Yep. And there's probably some we lost who we don't know about. Haven't seen some people post in a long time and you never know what that could mean.
John had to do what I hope none of us will do - bury a child. He carried that grief with him until he died. I was able to meet Mario and John was always giddy around him. I take the time with my son much more memorably because of that.

Norm's podcast was so much better than the official show on Netflix.
I guess season 1 was a little too crazy
Especially episode 1 with Super Dave
Priscilla Barnes hands down. The others were all attractive but more in a cute way. She had model good looks.
Terrific man. I never knew he was that established in the entertainment industry.
he seemed like a GREAT guy from his posts and contributions to BBI.
One of the saddest days (the saddest day) I have ever experienced on this site was when he came on 1 night and announced the death of his son (Mario - 22 years old?) who was in a car accident.
I was shocked, saddened and felt so helpless .... and I did not even know Montreal Man except from BBI.
It takes a powerful charisma to reach across the internet like that.

He was basically the concierge at the BBI meet up when Camp was in Albany. Such nice man who absolutely loved the Giants.
One could only wish to be remwmbered when they pass as he and HopeJ are.

Thanks Chop - I remember all the stories about camp and seeing all the pictures of the get togethers. I kept promising myself that I was going to go the 'next year". But, I live in California so it was a little hard ... and something always seemed to come up. Oh, well.

Regretfully, I only went once. But it was a lot of fun hanging out with BBIers. Lots of faces I won't see again and others I PROBABLY wont see again. As contentious as this site can be, that weekend was IT.
Bob in Anapolis, realizing just how much rnargi looked like an Italian David Lee Roth, Super Bowl 42 rewatch in the hotel bar, busting JonC's balls about his exhorbitantly large arms (meanwhile I walked around unabashedly with a belly, a beer and a bubbler in my pocket), Shephardsam and Davisian turnimg out to appear EXACTLY as I imagined (maybe not Sam, lol)....and thats without the practices, Larry in Pa totally thinking it was cool to hang out and party in his Giants jammies. But Montreal Man was there every day no matter how bleary eyed I was from the night before with a huge grin ready to go watch his team run drills. He was light.
I remember using his Giants tickets to see the Jaguars in the preseason of 2001. He called me, said he could not go and asked if could use them. I nearly fell out of my seat. Drove over to his place the next day and a buddy and I were off to Jersey three days later.
Then there was that time he came out with my coaching buddies and I to the old grand bayou here in Montreal to watch the Giants beat the Vikings. He fit in with all those lunatic coaches perfectly and made many new friends that afternoon.
Truly a one of a kind.
Told him I loved that I think first show of Fernwood where they had a scientist who proved leisure suits caused cancer in mice.

Im pretty sure '08 was the year Jon. You had the Nikes with the springs on the back of them that I got on on you about. Everything was cool. That weekend was a lot of fun tho.
Shep and Dav headimg out to campus to play frisbee golf at like 1 am. It was a great scene to be sure.
