GBN Draft Report has "tweaked" their Top 100 College Prospects. This link brings you to GBN's write-up (https://gbnreport.com/), and the link at bottom brings you to their list. The biggest mover is Northwestern G/T Rashawn Slate who has shot way up into the Top 10.
This is indeed a WR-rich Draft with 16 making GBN's Top 100. CB is close behind at 13:
WR 16
CB 13
OT 11
OLB 10
DE 8
DT 7
S 7
OG 6
QB 6
ILB 4
RB 4
TE 4
C 3
PK 1
Eighteen colleges have at least 3 prospects on GBN's list with National Champion Alabama leading the way with 9. If the NFL wants to expand they might as well just co-opt the Crimson Tide:
Alabama 9
Ohio State 6
Clemson 4
LSU 4
Miami 4
Pittsburgh 4
Southern California 4
Auburn 3
Florida 3
Georgia 3
Michigan 3
North Carolina 3
Notre Dame 3
Oklahoma State 3
Penn State 3
Stanford 3
Texas 3
Washington 3
College juniors comprise nearly two-thirds of GBN's Big Board:
JR 65
SR 24
RSO 11
One last point. GBN lists Wake Forest DE Carlos Basham at #43 which is right around where the Giants will be picking in Round Two. He would look very nice in Blue. So would USC WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (#47) who IMO has NFL stardom written all over him.

what the hell is a legit Northwestern OL? Does/has Northwestern ever produced enough NFL quality players that some can be considered legit?
Quote:
Slater from a hole in the wall, but if he's a legit "Northwestern" OL who can play RG or RT at a high level, he becomes very interesting.

Yeah, I don't get it either. Looking it up, last OL drafted from Northwestern was in 2006
I wouldn't say it's stupid to draft WR at 11. Smith, Chase, and Waddle are all special players, and Smith and Chase will almost certainly be gone before the Giants pick. I do agree that good WR can be had later in the draft.
I see Harris going to the Dolphins at 18.
Slater graded out really highly in 2019 I think. Because he sat out 2020, projections for him areall over the board, and because he's maybe 6'3" (not 6'4") and with sub 34" long arms, some (many?) have him projected to go much later. One pundit rated him above Sewell, but keep in mind it's the draft season when reporters' "sources" in NFL orgs like like rats under the floorboards in an enemy's hideout during a machine gun strafing.
Penei will be the first OL off the board, almost surely a top 5 selection. Slater might be on the board for the Giants at 42, which might make a no-brainer choice for them with the DG pronouncement: "we graded him as a top 15 player" and DG might be telling the truth.
5-10 210
And ran a 4.45 40
Could be interesting player
I've never seen him play and know nothing about him personally.
But - again - if he's a stud RT or a legit All Pro G - I'm interested at 11.
Of course on a team's OWN board you need not look so much lower on the board unless it is for trade back consideration, but I digress.
On GBN's board, there are a few potential #1 WR with size and ability/ experience to play the X receiver who look likely to be avalabe at and good value for the Giants' 2nd round pick: Bateman (most likely gone, but...), Marshall, and Amon-Ra, ranked 38, 44, and 47 respectively. There are also 2 big physical prototypical measurement (perhaps?) CBs in that range on the board, Wade OSU and Campbell UGA.
That's five players at two position of most desperate need on the team (pre-UFA signing and assuming at least one of Williams and Tomlinson is retained). T'hat makes me consider, if I don't land one of the receivers or CBs I value most highly at 11, I take a longer look at the edge guys. A really long, long look.
Short arms is the key to him moving inside. Many feel even with his short arms his physicality and quick feet can allow him to play right tackle at nfl level. I look at him as an all pro guard imv.
Ossai
Adebo

That's like me nailing Barbara Eden circa 1970.
i think that puts us in a good position to fill areas of need.

Nice post. Wade was brutal last year though, hard pass for me in the 2nd round.
