But RB is a sneaky need position on the roster. They probably need to draft one, sign an UDFA, and sign a vet backup. Once they clear cap somehow.
And IMHO they need to cut Dion Lewis one of the worst KR and 3rd down backs in the league.
Someone can correct me on this but I think Lewis isn't under contract next season. Currently the only signed backs are Barkley, Penny and Taquon Mizzle on a futures deal.
Steal in round 4-6. He’s not an explosive runner so I don’t see him getting taken much higher, just a power RB that has great vision and YAC, could be this years James Robinson. Would be a perfect compliment to our offense, and would also provide great insurance against another Barkley injury/setback.
Giants if he can do things that are complementary to Barkley. Specifically, can he run inside, and can he pass block?
I’m not sure we will ever see Barkley at his best. 2018 could have been his great year but for the lack of an O-line. Even in 2018, Barkley had these weaknesses, and although he could have learned to pass block and may be a better inside runner than we have seen, we need to be shown.
I like Gallman and he did a good job. He just isn’t anything special. Comparing him to all the backup RBs in the league, he is just very average. Freeman might have been better but he was hurt. Give credit to Gallman for staying on the field.
Top of rd 4
Young legs is a need. Saquon will be on pitch count awhile. And not a 30x per game back
But so is WR, CB, ER, OG ( I think peart will improve enough off season to handle OT) and TE too
We are 4-5 players from being real contenders if jones is at least middle of the pack qb

Totally agree. RB is a need position. Certainly could use a young RB that is a north/south short yardage guy that can block.
Most sites have him in round 4 or later. We'll see.
I'd only go RB if Gallman wants a lot of money. We could certainly duplicate his production with a draftee or FA.
