Who are some sleepers outside the top 50 (right now)
CB Ifeatu Melifonwu- Cuse- 6'3 and extremely athletic, gave Dyami Brown fits in their matchup
WR Elijah Moore- extremely productive in the SEC, only 20 yrs old at time of draft. Changes direction and gets out of breaks at full speed. Only 5'9 though so he's a slot guy most likely.
EDGE Daelin Hayes, Notre Dame- Everytime I watched him he looked like a player. Can even drop back in coverage a bit, surprisingly athletic at 266 lbs. Has a nice spin move and can rush from the EDGE or inside
EDGE Patrick Johnson- Tulane
TE Tommy Tremble- Notre Dame- Great blocker and receiving potential is there
WR Tamorrion Terry- Freakish size and speed combo and was productive when he played
RB Rhamondre Stevenson, Oklahoma- stole this one from another thread the other day..looks like a tank
Something tells me he's not a sleeper in the Giant War Room.
Collins will likely be a 1st round pick. He is probably ranked anywhere between 20 and 30.
Quote:
His ranking but Zaven Collins from Tulsa. Kid has the goods and the way he moves and reacts is absolutely ridiculous for someone his size 6’5 270 or something like that

Collins is the type I pray every year will fall to us in RD 2 but winds up getting picked by the Ravens at the end of round 1 and becoming a pro bowler....
His short area moves are ridiculous and apparently squats an insane amount..
The WR version of Barkley.
Rondale Moore - ( New Window )
Not really a sleeper as he may go bottom half of 1st or top half of 2nd.
Trey Smith OG - ( New Window )
The only knock against Palmer may be his undefined route running which can be coached up.
May be a real possibility in the 5th or 6th round.

I have mentioned LE several times. I mostly like him and trust the ND pipeline for OLs. They've produced some good ones the last decade.
Me too. But he seems small. I recall that was a pretty good QB in high school, too... ;)
Did a mock recently where I had St Brown in the 2nd,Eskridge in the 4th,and Smith-Marsette in the 6th.Merry Christmas Jones
Greg Newsome,CB, Northwestern
Another corner for the 2nd and 3rd rounds
He's not going to Yowza at the combine like Wirfs, and some suggest he'll project inside, too.
For a fifth or sixth round shot, he seems like a potential high reward. He's "quick out of his stance and an agressive run blocker who struggles against speedy edge rushers."
He intrigues me. I liked his attitude and presence on a Youtube video interview too.

The WR version of Barkley. Rondale Moore - ( New Window )
That guy looks good. No BS in his game
It’s hard to believe but this team as of today has no position of strength or one truly special player damn hard to do that year after year yet we have. We are spinning our wheels in the same position right at oh we’re really just a dream away from being very good when in reality they are in the same position as last year very bad without talents taking the necessary steps to even become gamers.
How do we correct this don’t overvalue our present players provide competition in all positions we just wasted another year not a damn thing to really show for it. We must build thru the draft and UDFA let FA play it’s game then sign the one year scrap heap guys at league minimum no commitment going forward. Every year is a good draft we need to base our future on these young players the vets just keep exhausting our cap space. We may say oh yes we’re a young team but 5 guys or less that you want to build a future with out of 53 just does not made for much success going forward.
Really like his game. He was a 5 star recruit coming out who finally started to put it together this year. Think he can be had on day 3.
I think he could end up being a Za'Darius Smith type of player.
