Hoss holding onto the ball when Smith sacked him for the safety. OJ's game. Ingram on 3rd & 13. Walls' open field tackle on Thomas. And obviously...'No good...wide right!'
and hitting receivers after the catch. Held the Bills explosive offense to 19 points. That is where we won the game in my opinion. And Jumbo played the game of his life pretty much containing Bruce Smith and opening holes for OJ.
Honestly the best team did not win that day, but the best coached team did.
I loved that1990 team and how they played the game.
Ottis Anderson's 24-yard run, that he finished with the forearm shiver to Kelso, and Mark Ingram's catch-and-run on 3rd-and-13 defined what that team was all about.
1990 Giants had the defense to slow the Bills down, gave up 13 and 19 in two matchups in '90. Giants were plenty talented, seasoned, and galvanized when the playoffs began. They knew they could win it all and win rematches against SF and Buf, and then went out and proved it.

I agree. The Bills never got hit in the mouth like that before, even in the 16-13 game at Giants Stadium. They got educated on that first play when Reed got smacked.
I still don't think Erhardt and the offense get enough credit for controlling the game in that SB. It was masterful.
RE: OJ on WFAN said they'd win 1 game if they played the Bills 100 times
is one of the all time underrated plays. It looks like a negative because it resulted in a safety, but that could have easily been 6, which would have been the difference.
It's incredible he salvaged a really disastrous play.
The D layed the lumber on the Bills until they caved.

This was key, second half he wanted no part of the Giants defenders

I love OJ, but he's wrong there.
