Jason Witten retires after 17 years

US1 Giants : 1/27/2021 4:38 pm
Great player and Giants killer.

11-time Pro Bowler and two-time first-team All-Pro.

HOF for sure.

He should be first ballot...

wish he was a NYG all of those years
One of my favorite non-Giant players

over last couple decades.

He damn well better give a quick call-out to the NYG linebackers and safeties that got him into the HOF during his speech.

No kidding. The Giants may have done more for his career than the Cowboys did.

How many times did we see him running victorious into the endzone for a game winning last minute TD with Antonio Pierce or whoever at LB trying in vain to catch up to him in the background?

I've yelled variations on "WIDE OPEN! WHY CAN'T WE COVER TE'S IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD??? EVERY YEAR!!!!" often specifically because of him when he was a Cowboy
De ja vu

Always knew he was capable of hurting us on the next play. One of our biggest nemesis in years gone by but one we probably all respect.

Great career. The Giants could really do with somebody like him.
Great two way TE

I don’t think he ever missed a game and if he did it was a couple. Amazing

Helluva career & a Giants killer. I just hope he doesn't end up back in the booth because he wasn't good. And I'm being charitable.

Yes Jason Witten was a Giant killer but
1giantblue : 1/27/2021 10:00 pm : link

Great player

He should be invited to MetLife to catch a ceremonial touchdown pass against us.
Bullshit
David B. : 1/28/2021 2:06 pm : link
I'll believe it when I see it STICK.
Even in retirement on the golf course
Daniel in MI : 1/28/2021 2:51 pm : link
he'll have 6 catches, 4 of them on 3rd down, for 75 yards and a TD against us, that MFer.
The day he signs his one day retirement contract
eli4life : 1/28/2021 3:37 pm : link
He will walk straight through the middle of giants central untouched to sign it. With the numbers he put up against us he should go into the hof wearing a giants uniform
Great player. I'm only sorry he played for Dallas. Best of luck to
Ira : 1/28/2021 3:41 pm : link
him in retirement.
