like Charles Way. He was the consummate face of a franchise in every possible way, and was also loved by teammates. He looks to be the perfect guy to mentor young players on the finer points of handling the media and other off field stuff.
Which makes me cautious of the fools who will blame Eli for all transactions interpreted wrong. Eli round Haters 2.0
I may have to have a friend change my password so I couldn't login until the Giants win 2 Super Bowls back to back to calm down the psychos on this site.
Then it would be good for about a month.
I was enjoy lack the Eli hate much like another public figure.
He's bored and needs something to do. He should have packed his bags like Bradshaw said after shurmur benched for a bush leager and went and played for the Bears or jacksonville or whatever.
If he went to the Buccs and pulled a Brady -- which I am sure he is well capable of doing-- the haters here would say something like "well he got lucky because of the Offensive Coordinator we still need to draft a mobile QB and run the RPO blah blah blah.

Yup. Maybe community relations as well, similar to Adam Graves with the Rangers. Eli is perfectly suited for that kind of stuff.

So in your opinion Eli = Brady? More or less?
Yeah, OK.
So they are NOT looking to bring Eli on to teach Jones

More or less yes. He beat him twice in a SB there’s that. I just think people look at this like they’re shopping for new appliances
All I hear about on here is mobile quarterback this and mobile that and times are changing. Mahones might be the only exception to a mobile QB winning more than one championship; the only one. Not Brees; Rodgers; Jackson; Josh Allan. It’s not that important in the playoffs and Lamar missed half the game
Eli played on a crappier teams with much worse coaching ... otherwise he could pretty much make the case that he was top 7 qb s in the league
And I wouldn’t have a problem if they drafted John Allan it Herbert; which they could have done. But to jettison Eli for a qb who threw 12 td’s and have a moron for general manager that becomes too much
After they go 6-10 again next year I gues that’s when we can jettisoned Getty man and jones

Of course certain posters will react as if the Giants have given Eli final say on all personnel moves.
