That is wild. Not on the same level, but Bob Kraft once handed a Super Bowl ring to Putin to view & then...Putin just left & Kraft never got it back. Kraft wanted it back, but was told not to bother, as it wasn't worth worsening US-Russia ties.

former Colts and Rams owner, stole the Super Bowl V Trophy, and it's still missing. Our two former GM's are part of the story. When the NFL made a new one for the Colts, EA who was their PR Director, I think, felt bad that George Young's name was left off of the trophy and asked them to add it to the new one. He was an assistant OL coach. So the Trophy with GY's name on it is the one in a museum and the other is somewhere with the Rosenbloom/Frontiere family.
