Engram is faster, and . . and . . Well, he's faster!
Pitts is built a lot like, and is of similar size to Plaxico Burress, though Pitts is a little heavier, and Burress had a good deal more speed.
I've seen Engram make eye-popping receptions, unfortunately, they typically don't occur at critical times, though he has a unique ability of making equally eye-popping gaffs, which usually DO happen at critical times.
I'm looking for players who have the potential to be difference makers (For OUR team!) but I've seen little inclination from the Giants brain trust to move on from Engram.
Highlights: He's the Pitts! - (

Reminder, he wasn't that bad in 2020. A few bad plays to be sure, but he did more good than bad. And I think those bad plays can be lessened. Let's be honest they were of the freak plays variety. I mean every tipped ball seemed to find its way into a defenders hands. That's kind of rare.

Based on your posts I agree with most of your takes on the team but a Engram has got to go. I’ve never seen a non QB destroy an offense with turnovers like this guy. And it’s always at critical times. Every time they throw at him I hold my breath.

I know how they can be lessened as well...
I’m just not sure I want both of these guys on the team. It’s hard for me to see the Giants drafting a pass catching can’t block TE with this current roster at the 11. Idk...
Let's spend our draft capital on WR, we have a huge talent gap there. We know EE can play the position and sometimes looks great. He has to be accounted for, freeing up WR's.
It's his contract year, so he'll probably play lights out. We can get a comp when he signs with another team.
You guys love making excuses for these sucky players. He was a first round draft choice.
Yeah. Agree with this. Tired of looking at Engram. Joe Judge isn't anything special until he benches Engram's ass after another costly mistake. Thanks for the four game winning streak but yeah color me unimpressed.
Engram catches a football like a nun catches herpes.
See the difference?
The bad news about Pitts is that he may be a tweener, who isn't really physical enough to play a conventional TE role and not fast enough to play WR. I understand the enthusiasm for him, but I don't think Pitts and Engram on the same roster are a fit with Garrett's offense.
On the other hand, if Engram is traded, Pitts makes more sense. I guess.
