NFT: Selling Sports Tickets

HeftyLefty : 2/16/2021 9:41 pm
How will sports tickets look in the next year or so when things open back up and people are vaccinated but negative tests are still required to attend events? Can people just re-sell tickets on Stubhub?

I am of the theory that next year their will be a will and drive for people to go to events, and sports/concert tickets will be the sports cards boon of 2022. The question is how to best invest in this?

Buy low sell high.
Here are some tips...

1. Buy all the Giants tickets you can for. They seem desperate to unload tickets all the time with all the ads I see and the calls I get during the day.

2. Wait.

3. Wait some more.

4. Wait until Jones, Engram, etc are all finally gone and the Giants are successful for the first time in eons.

5. Sell.

Also, who the fuck knows?

A lot of people love telling the world every other five seconds how they're not into going to games and concerts or traveling because of the true gravity of the situation, and believe me they'll tell you over and over.

One more thing, I'm not paying $325 to see a shitty Rangers team, or going through the hassle of showing them I'm "negative" in order to watch them lose.

You may be fucked on this one. Good luck though.

That $5,250 invoice from the Giants

It’s just gathering dust in my inbox right now.

I’m wondering if I default if they’ll just give me a pass.

I seriously can’t see any way how my tickets will be worth half their face value ever again.

Might just walk away from the PSL and go to 2-4 games a year for $70 each.

The email from the Giants plays up the fact that you get playoff tickets with your PSL. Let’s win some games first.
Why don't you

just donate half the money you were going to spend on Giants tickets. I'll take you out back, kick ya in the nuts and we call it a day!

I walked away from mine 3 years ago. Best decision I made.

Even $70 is overpaying to go and pay to see this garbage can team. The Los Angeles Rams and Tennessee Titans games in 2017 and 2018 were the cheapest amount ever paid for a ticket. I spent $7 on the Rams ticket and I spent $8 on the Titans game.

I did get my money's worth when I justifiably trashed the team as they walked off the field. They look scared LOL sorry I just put things in perspective? Just as I do on here.

Season ticket holder who was thrilled to sell my PSL at a massive loss in 2019 after Jones’ first game, I urge you not to invest. But if you want to, PSLs are dirt cheap right now. But as someone who could only go to 2-3 games per year, it became impossible to sell tickets. Its not just the team sucking, the market is over saturated and the tv home experience is amazing with Red Zone and high quality picture TVs. The demand is increasing while supply increases. Below is the PSL site I used in case youre interested.

Now I agree totally with concert tickets. Invest in those. People will be flocking to those.
