How about them Devs, smacked the Bruins around like they stole something last nite. Really like what this young team is doing. Here's hoping they don't run out of gas when they have to play significant games back to back to back.... But in the meantime, NJoy!!!!!
I have no idea but they deserve credit for fighting back. All three 3rd period goals were even strength too.
Yeah unfortunately Smith got caught out there too long and was dead on his feet. Oh well the compete factor in the 3rd period is what I wanna see every night. We're going to lose a lot in this division but the effort put out there in the 2 Rangers games is completely unacceptable.

I don't care if they finish last in the division as long as they are showing effort and the young players are progressing. Their performance against the Rangers was demoralizing.

What is bizarre is how bad they are at home. They have been superb on the road, even against the elite teams. Home they can't even beat the Sabres.
I wasn't a fan of Okhotiuk in round 2, Vukojevic in round 3, Cole Brady in round 4 (I really wanted Dustin Wolf), or Tyce Thompson in round 4. Obviously I was very wrong about Thompson who has been much better than I expected.
Graeme Clarke's offensive skill set is impressive. The one issue with him becoming a top 6 forward in the NHL is his skating. He's reportedly already improved a bit there so that is an encouraging sign. Clarke is a very skilled stick handler and he has a great, accurate shot. He earned very little playing time in Bing the first four games but the last 2 and 1/3 he has earned more time and recorded two goals. His goal last night was a nice one where he used Nolan Foote as a screen and displayed impressive quick, accurate shot.
I think the Devils should give him at least a couple of weeks off. The season is over anyway might as well give Dell more time to see if he should return next year. I'd like to see Gilles Senn receive a few starts towards the end of the season.
