Pierre Desir donates 10,000 meals to the Houston Food Bank

I wanted to share a good story about an athlete for once. All we seem to ever hear is the negative.

Good on him!

Any other positive stories on athletes that you'd like to share would be welcomed.

I am so tired of the negative.

Good on his part.
I get the impression...

that there are many more good news stories. Stories of athletes willingly giving something back to their communities or their causes.

Unfortunately, sports media is more entertainment than informational. Good news lasts a day, but controversy and conflict has a long shelf life.

Well, I think that applies to most things, not sports. Good acts don't draw as many eyeballs/comments as someone doing something outrageous.
