NFT: Anime Fans - Crunchyroll vs. Funimation vs HiDive

I happened to have a Crunchyroll account but I keep noticing all the stuff that's not available on the site. Is it another Netflixs vs. Hulu situation where you have to occasionally switch between the two to catch up on stuff you are missing or is one site really better than the others?

Crunchyroll in a long time, but im a funimation subscriber. This may not be current, but last I checked funimation has more dubbed options, but if you are OK with subtitles Crunchyroll has more options overall. That may have changed over the last few years though.

but my good friend swears by Crunchyroll. Dubbing has come a long way with Anime but personally I'd rather watch Subs. They all offer free trials, I'd just sign up and see what you like.

I'm not sure how long Crunchyroll will continue to exist ...

It just seems like the few times I'm on social media and an interesting anime clip is played, it just happens to be one that is not on Crunchyroll. And I refused to go to those freebie sites based on general principal and fear of catching a computer killing virus.
