NFT: Any probiotic and supplements types you swear by?

GiantCuse : 2/20/2021 11:16 am
Seeing an integrative medicine doctor for some gastric and tick-borne issues. He's got me on 5 different probiotics + vitamin D. The probiotics aren't cheap so I'm only taking 2 of the 5 for now and will revaluate soon.

I have some mild to medium anxiety issues as well, and I've been reading that some people are having success with Ashwagandha root pills. Anyone tried that?

physlum husk fiber, high dose EPA fish oil.

Had alot of joint pain and intestinal inflamation which to gastro issues including triggering extreme anxiety. Also high triglicerides.

this routine has helped me greatly along with anti inflamation diet.

using probiotics that remain refrigerated. I'd recommend going to a Whole Foods or a health food store and selecting a probiotic out of the refrigerated section - I'd avoid ordering that type of supplement online.

but, the best probiotic I have ever taken was natural. It's called Beet Kvass. It's an old Russian/Slavic drink that you may be able to find at some of your natural juice stores. Most store bought probiotics have anywhere from 5 billion to 50 billion of gut bacteria per dose. Beet Kvass has 10 Trillion per teaspoon!

a place fairly local to you that makes fermented products which probably is a better way to get a natural probiotic.

Some of the recommendations already mentioned are good. Vitamin D and Zinc were really helpful during these Covid times.

One thing I have tried to do is find a natural source for vitamins/minerals/others. Just look up the supplement you seek and search for natural sources of ........

Good luck.
Chlorella and spirulina have been incredible for me.

They're algae that have a range of benefits including omega 3s, aminos, can help with cholesterol and glucose levels. I get most of that through my nutrition though, for me its been a game changer with digestion. Just a night and day difference.
