Not sure who it was but someone on BBI gave a recommendation to this show and its incredible. It reminds me a lot of The Wire, it's really that good and gritty.
I'm only part way through the new season so we'll see how it pans out

It's not a new series. Far from it. I saw it on NetFlix. You might find it OnDemand somewhere. It was originally broadcast on BBC, but that was a long time ago.
