Oregon State RB Jermar Jefferson has an injury history. Many/most college RB's do. Bradshaw did (Along with swiping some other kid's Play Station, if I recall.) Some don't; I don't remember Barkley being injured in school. Of course everyone wants that bullet proof RB that's guaranteed. But the point is there aren't any guaranties as to whether injuries, or a lack thereof, will assure an ability or inability to contribute on an NFL roster.
Jefferson might be a 3rd round pick, but his history will likely drop him to later in the draft. Despite that history, if he can pass the physical, I like him later in the draft as a potential solid RB prospect. Tough nosed, talented, and productive when he's played, with a 6.5 yard average in 2020.

Barkley also missed two games as a freshman, then played every game his last two years.
I wish that reel had more of him as a pass catcher. And none of these reels show blitz pickups or chipping.

Obviously, I've been misinformed. I had read his chronic foot problems went back to his school playing days.
I think you're right, it looks like he's got a hitch in stride.

He's just one of several prospects who looks as if he might stick on a roster for a while. If drafted, I see him late in draft, or very likely an UDFA. If the Giants liked him, they wouldn't have fork over a high pick. I'm looking for role players, not another "Hand of God."
But there are other RB's I like better as role players. If the Giants were willing to spend a 4th or 5th, my wish list has Rhamondre Stevenson on it, unless the Giants see a player at a different position of need that is an incredible value. And there are other guys who should go after Stevenson who also are likely to be useful.
