I sort of feel like the Giants ought to demand the Bills second round pick. The 61 pick for Engram seems fair. You all undervalue him too much for trade purposes! If the Giants settle for the the third round pick #94, we should get the lower of the Bill's fifth round picks #158.

I think he could draw a 2nd round pick, if you look around the league there is actually a lot of need at the position. I would be happy with a 3rd though. I’d also be happy with a trade I suggested on another tread with the chargers for WR Mike Williams. I think when you really look at both situations it is a trade that works for both sides.

Engram's drops directly resulted in interceptions and losses. That's why the reactions are so strong. I actually like the player, and think he's redeemable, not a popular opinion I know.
If he made (just a couple of average plays) that a average TE makes, we are in the playoffs. You also can argue just one play.
Yea, we can play this game with every player on the team. If Thomas makes one or two more blocks. If the secondary covers one more play. If Jones doesn't fall apart on 3-4 occasions late in many games. If Barkley doesn't get hurt. If gallman breaks one more tackle.

No. It's EE's walk year, so a 3rd, even a late 3rd, is fair value.
Remember Leonard Williams? He was a top 10 pick, and an acknowledged excellent run defender. 3rd and a 5th, and folks here were screaming DG overpaid at the time amd some still cry about it.
And he proved himself to be a very, very good DL last year, if not an absolute top shelf DL like Buckner, Jones, or Darnold.
His drops and flubs seem too be at the most inopportune times
and he tends to drop them "up" where they are picked off. It is just shocking how many turnovers he was involved in last year. From my vantage point, most if not all were on him.

-Evan Engram continued his flashes that create hope just to have them brought back down after a huge mishap. On the first drive of the game and the first drive of the second half, he caught passes downfield that properly displayed both his size and speed. Those 2 catches combined for 97 yards. He finished with 129 catches on 4 yards, but he fumbled in the second quarter and it led to a CIN field goal that put them up by 3. Engram can be such a difference maker. There are not even a handful of tight ends who can make the plays he did in this game but the turnovers and drops are enough to kill his chances long term.
VS. WFT:
Evan Engram has gotten his fair share of roller coaster reviews over the past few years and we can only add to it at this point. In a week where it was confirmed multiple teams tried to trade for him last week, NYG decided to hold onto the talented playmaker. He led the team in targets with 10, catching 5 of them for 48 yards and a touchdown. There were multiple bumps in the road, however. Engram dropped 2 passes that were literally right in front of his face. One of them was just inches away from resulting in an interception. He also allowed a TFL and was flagged for offensive pass interference. Engram’s touchdown was a huge play and it was a high-skill level catch.

Imo, EE is a fourth round return or an pre-season/in season trade if someone's TE gets injured. I just dont see a 3rd for EE.
