NFL.com: NYG a top-3 most intriguing Hard Knocks candidate

Too conservative. Not colorful or controversial enough. Not interesting to anyone beyond its own fanbase. The only part of the organization that might be remotely interesting is the coaches, and even they aren’t really “characters”.

The only image that Hard Knocks can promote is “embarrassment”.

But would prefer they not do it.

I think it does more harm than good. It is hard enough to deal with all drama that goes on with rich alpha males vying for attention without the cameras on. Just no.

While the NFL can "force" a team to participate, the Giants have a gentleman's agreement that was put in place awhile back that they will only be on Hard Knocks if they wanted to be. Perhaps judge would want to - but I don't see it.

In return, the Giants have agreed to other behind the scenes things.

I would put my bets on Dallas or Carolina for this year. Also keep in mind, Jacksonville may volunteer to be the team - there are a lot of rumors they want to be featured.

The drama of Joe Joe Judge being a big meanie.

I hear ya, personally I'm torn. I think the argument is that it could theoretically be detrimental to the team in some way. I think if you're not strong enough for the scrutiny you wouldn't be strong enough to handle winning the NFL. But it's also just one more distraction and thing to manage on an already full plate so...

That was cool when they did that

he has a strong social media presence, he gave tours of the facility during Covid, he does weekly breakdowns, etc. I think he'd make for some good television this summer.

anyway, we hear about the Giants candidacy for Hard Knocks almost every year, and Mara will find a way to weasel out of it.

in a training camp with a lot of change going on and a need for the players to focus and become a coherent team.

I'd absolutely f***ing love if Big Blue was featured on hard knocks. My first and only giants game was the week 13 OT win Vs the Bears in 2018 and ever since then I've been absolutely hooked. I must say they coverage back here in the UK is pretty atrocious for a specific team. If you're playing out with prime time there is almost no week to week coverage other then the highlights on Scott Hanson's NFL Redzone. Ever since talking to some of my friends and getting them into the NFL too, they now support the Raiders (Ew) purely because the 2019 series' made them so accessable to overseas fans.

Whilst I can only see the jags taking part this season (if UM approves it) surely growing the franchise overseas can only be a benefit?
