years ago for Christmas my wife gave me a 50 box set called "Decca Sound: The Analog Years." It was the golden age of great recordings in the mid-50s when stereophonic high fidelity was making its impact. The microphone placement is perfect, the recordings are sublime and it's a diverse mix of great music. You can still find it on Amazon--but it's not cheap!

This is actually available on Apple Music, which may defeat the purpose with the compression, but it sounds fantastic
Here's a Chopin Prelude. Love them all but No 3 always stood out to me.
Prelude op. 28 no. 3 in G major - ( New Window )
Try any or all of the Bach Brandenburg Concertos

Yeah, the one I linked above is the best imo.
Thanks though.
Ooh great call Marty. My favorite from Bach. I actually am figuring it out on MandoCello (Or well I was anyway - until I lost access to the Mandocello... lol)
Yo-Yo Ma - Bach: Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major, Prélude - ( New Window )
