1. TE Kyle Pitts, Florida
2. Edge Ronnie Perkins, Oklahoma
3. CB Benjamin St. Juste, Minnesota
4. WR Seth Williams, Auburn
6. C/G Michael Menet, Penn State
6. Edge Tarron Jackson, Coastal Carolina
As a side note, the rational for selecting Menet, Lombardo says the following:
“The Giants started Nick Gates at center, for the first time in his football career, last season to mixed results.
Meanwhile, former second-round pick Will Hernandez regressed dramatically under a new coaching staff as fifth-round rookie Shane Lemieux was a colossal disappointment, replacing Hernandez at left guard.”
Very uninformed, short-sighted analysis here. Gates was the best lineman in the team last season, and performed extremely well after a bumpy first week. “Mixed results” is just flat out wrong.
Hard for Lemieux, as a 5th round pick, to be a “colossal disappointment.”No one expected him to come in and be a finished product. He need some development. I’d argue that as a 5th round rookie, despite growing pains, he performed admirably.
This is what is frustrating about the beat writers for this team: jumping to conclusions, and/or making incorrect statements.

Okie dokie.
He also knows little about football in general and just makes stuff up.
Lemieux a colossal disappointment?!? He was a fifth round pick! No fifth round pick can be a colossal disappointment. Plus he wasn't.

Isn't it Dunleavy that got the job with the Post? I believe Lombardo works for a variety of websites.
It’s still newsworthy and worth sharing.
Just simply voicing frustration.
Any good writer should be open to criticism. In the event that Lombardo sees this commentary, maybe he can improve his craft.
He’s getting clicks and views regardless. A few more from BBI readers looking at his material won’t get him a promotion in itself....and if it does, then we’ll get a new reporter, which would be a win!
I know St-Juste had a big week at Senior Bowl but is he really a 3rd-rounder? I guess if you want a tall corner to tick the “big” box again.
I have no strong feelings about the rest. My question is: What board is he using and does it account for scheme fit?
In effect, it's not that he is likely wrong, anybody and any pic is likely wrong; more to the point, it's that he can't be right.
Hes a clown...his content isnt worth the clicks that he receives.

Pitts, I bet it's around 50-50 that he's available at 11. Depends on how many QBs go first and then whether Dallas and some other teams in the top 10 prioritize secondary and take Farley and/or Surtain.
There's a non-trivial chance that one (but only one) of Chase/Smith/Waddle, AND Pitts, AND Parsons are all on the board when the Giants are on the clock. If Lawrence, Wilson, Lance, Fields, Sewell, Farley, Surtain and two WRs go, that's nine guys. If someone takes Slater or Owusu-Koramoah or Rousseau, that's 10. That could very easily happen.
