Former Giants/Irish star Louis Nix III is missing

Nix, who was a standout defensive lineman for the Irish before playing three seasons in the NFL, was reported missing by his mother on Friday. The missing persons report says that Nix left his father’s house in Jacksonville on Tuesday morning and has not been seen since. As of Saturday morning, Nix is still missing.

he survived a shooting back in December. I don’t mean to rumor monger, but it’s hard to think the two events aren’t related, unfortunately. I hope for the best, obviously.

with him for a couple years.

I bought a game used helmet off of him for a few grand from the 2012 ND Shamrock Series game in the summer of 2019. One of my friends knows him personally and told me he was selling some of his game used helmets and got me in contact with him. He had to make more than a few bucks even though he wasnt in the NFL that long
