That was great, thanks for posting. I am one of the few fans that actually liked him last season so I’m really loving what Randle is doing. My daughter and I watch every game together and he has become our favorite Knick.

IMO, when you walk back your previous opinion, you don't get to puff out your chest and strut around about being right originally. Great, you wanted him signed. You also wanted him traded for a bag of chips. Now you can claim that you always wanted him when he's good, and you can also claim that you wanted to trade him for nothing when he's not. It's just lame. Have some conviction.

I just feel like in any series of Knicks threads (and I read more on them than I post, because I appreciate the insight that most of you guys provide and I can't match that), you'll go back and forth on pretty much every topic if given enough time. I'm thinking back to the Durant rumors - was there an opinion that you didn't have along the way?

to whatever team had the 8th and 10th picks that year - I think it was Atlanta - and take Tyler Herro and Brandon Clarke because I thought they'd be better complements to KD and Kyrie. I definitely bought in on those rumors.

because it was the first time the Knicks ever had cap space and we weren't THAT far removed from the being a good team - guys like Lebron/Wade/Melo at least grew up watching Knicks playoff games on TV. No one really knew how players would react to the Knicks being an option. I blame myself for getting reeled in again a couple of years ago. I'll wait til they build a good team before getting remotely excited over FAs.

I was very negative on miles bridges, I didn’t like his game at all. I was wrong on that. I was 50/50 on Porter jr risk, I think I was for the risk, but completely understood passing on it at the time and given this teams history

2019 - really wanted Ja Morant like everyone else. I agreed with Barrett as the pick, although I will admit at the time I said there will be many teams that will regret passing on garland. I may have even referenced him as steph curry lite haha. He hasn’t shown much yet and may be the worst defensive guard in the nba. I really didn’t want culver or Hunter, Hunter looks to be legit.

2020 - I did not want to trade up for Lonzo, wanted to stay Pat and take haliburton. Didn’t really love anyone in the draft. Haliburton looks to be very good. Haliburton and quickly would have been awesome but not sure they would have taken quickly had they taken Haliburton.

I wanted Monk in '17. And it looks like he's FINALLY becoming a player.

But I do feel vindicated that Quickley has been a player for them. I loved the pick when they made it. Didn't think he'd play this well this soon, but I thought it was a terrific value pick.

That said we know this team needs scoring and Drummond is much much more skilled offensively then either of our centers (not that it takes much). If we can get him for spare parts then sure, but again if we were going to do it i would have rathered them do it 4-5 games ago.

That may happen, but I doubt drummond comes here if it does. He's much more likely to go to a bonafide contender. The Nets for example make far more sense.

Sure if i can have my choice of Oladipo or Drummond for spare parts then id take oladipo, but i dont think HOU is trading him for spare parts.

Im not advocating for drummond, but a couple month rental if it cost like bullock and rivers and a second id be fine with it. I like what Noel has given us, but lets not pretend we arent a much better team with Drummond and mitch splitting center then mitch and noel.
