Game is at 8:30 p.m. tonight. I don't see any news on Payton as of yet. We are still currently in sole possession of 4th place in the east. Winning this game would go a long way in the standings with one more game against Detroit remaining. Being up 3 games over .500 is better than 1 game (no shit). The east is not the west by any stretch but the east is a really tight race right now.

I think Silver & the NBA have largely done a good job vis a vis everything going on, but there's no need for an ASB weekend/give these guys more time off. It's been a bear of a season in terms of games/nights.

Rumor has it they were under pressure from their TV partners to have the ASG. Lebron didn't want it, so it had to be real pressure for them.

In a normal season, I have no problem with AS weekend. It's stupid, mindless entertainment. But this season...with a pandemic? It's just flat out stupid. But, as with most things in life, $ is paramount.

Agreed but Rose is a vet and I'm sure Thibs doesn't have to let him know about a dumb play. I agree with you that IQ should play more. I'm just point out what I think is happening off of what I am seeing.

It's less about Rose and more about keeping Quickley out of situations that could kill his morale and keeping his head right
