Game is at 8:30 p.m. tonight. I don't see any news on Payton as of yet. We are still currently in sole possession of 4th place in the east. Winning this game would go a long way in the standings with one more game against Detroit remaining. Being up 3 games over .500 is better than 1 game (no shit). The east is not the west by any stretch but the east is a really tight race right now.

I just listened to that Windhorst podcast. He's the king of this and I hate when reporters tease out a tidbit like he did - " a star player will force his way to the Knicks in the next 12 months."
Just come out and say what you are hearing or don't drop that. With that said, who do you think he is referring to?

Ive always said this about lebron
They are very good. I just have a difficult time believing they could beat a motivated Lakers team 4 times in a playoff situation. Or the Nets for that matter if they meet in the finals

I said this recently but doesnt towns and Randle seem like an awful fit. We are going to have to give up the farm for Towns and im not sure he is worth it. He is a good player, but im not sure he is great and the fit seems awful. Im sure id be in the minority but id 100% take lavine over towns even if the cost was close.

I think Towns and Randle tandem can work offensively, think about how wide open the paint would be for Barrett driving to the hoop..defensively would be the question..
Frank will never replace Payton, Thibs likes his point guards to drive to the hoop, he likes guys who can get into the lane..

This is how i feel about Towns as well and its crazy he was a really good defender in college his 1 year.
Wouldn't even consider it at that price. Don't mind the players, but 4 1sts? No way.

I think that’s a fair trade. But the question is do you want to use all your ammo on KAT or save it for another star. There’s also a ton of questions about Towns even as talented as he is.
Good thing is Leon Rose and Thibs know Towns well and also know the market well and who will be possibly be on the move.
Stick with Robinson and build through the draft, keep assets unless they can be used for obtaining a great pg or shooting guard.

That was great, thanks for posting. I am one of the few fans that actually liked him last season so I’m really loving what Randle is doing. My daughter and I watch every game together and he has become our favorite Knick.
