I really hope that the Giants are able to get one of the six players that PFF's Mike Renner listed in his podcast: Smith, Waddle, Parsons, Chase, Pitts, Sewell. Of course, it depends on how many quarterbacks go in the top 10. Anyway, I know we won't get Sewell, but if they can get one of these offensive weapons, then I hope they go offensive line in rounds 2 and 3 because there will be good linemen available, and we cannot afford to wait until later rounds for that position. Renner said he would not be surprised to see 10 linemen go in the first 2 rounds and that this is the deepest class he has ever seen. Then if they can get a corner in the 4th and a pass rusher in free agency (Rams? Bengals?), I think they would be in great shape. What do you think?
Balance of team....has a base of knowledge to build on....
Continued development of the young players, hit on a couple gems in FA and hope for another solid draft.
I suspect...the holes will be filled and if they stay healthy...we should be good....as it will take another year...to build depth.
Or (Waddle, D Smith and Pitts scare me due to low floor):
... get one of the five players: Parsons, Chase, Pitts, Sewell, Surtain and Farley.

He's a tweener. His floor is out of the league after 2 years.

Completely agree on the 8. Renner thought Farley was the better pick because Surtain, while fundamentally sound and with size, runs a 4.6, so he can get burned.
