shows, but especially one with such a "mysterious" story line. You are giving a large fan base a week to dissect everything and buildup every quote from every actor, ha. That said i did kind of feel this was a bit of letdown. The big reveal being her turning into the scarlet witch is def big, but expected. Overall i def enjoyed it, just was kinda hoping for some crazy cameo or reveal.
As for white vision im assuming he just went to "find himself" and he will factor into vision and wanda "saying Hello" again.
The show sets up some fun possibilities (intentionally I think) but then the ending is pretty conventional.
-Big character reveal at the end was just White Vision, no "Luke Skywalker" moment
-The ultimate bad guy is...just Agatha. Some wondered if an even bigger villain (Mephisto) was in play even after the initial Agatha reveal.
-X-men introduction via the multiverse and Quicksilver is really just a normal guy named Bohner played by the same actor.
was olsen saying there was the "luke skywalker" level reveal. Whether its her turning into the scarlet witch or white vision neither is anywhere near the skywalker one.
Again i think the show was hurt by the fact that everyone speculated on everything each week. And the show was a mystery to begin with. Like a falcon and winter soldier is going to be a bit more straight forward. Therefor people wont pick out every tiny thing and speculate to the level they did with this.
That said i am bummed we didnt get something crazy like Reed Richards, or more of a nod to the fact that this quicksilver came from another universe (not that he was just an actor or whatever), or at least a Dr. Strange post credits thing.

I agree with this to an extent, but the Marvel folks were clearly fucking with the audience casting Pietro from X-Men. They knew what kind of speculation that would lead to and unfortunately the real story didn't turn out to be quite as interesting.
In the big picture though I get that they probably would never want to drop a feature film level bombshell like that in the middle of a TV spinoff.
Good series overall, but was left a bit unsatisfied.
Mainly because i didn't feel the characters, outside of Wanda and Vision, were flushed out very well.
I still don't quite understand why Hayward was hell bent on killing Wanda (AND her children!) when he had the Vision body all along.
Not sure of Monica Rambeau's motivation to continue to sacrifice herself to try and save Wanda . And that may have been the most lackluster superhero origin story MCU has ever done (basically she walked through a virtual wall and got powers . . . and then instantly knew how to use them?).
And I would have been fine with Agatha ending up as the main villain if they just gave us a little more to her story. Marvel has been so good with bringing depth to all of it's villains, and after all of this great work the show did in exploring Wanda as a character and her coping with all of her grief, it was disappointing to arrive at Agatha as this very one dimensional foe.
Amazingly, Evan Peters' Quicksilver got sidelined again despite being in a completely different studio. The Ralph Boehner "reveal" was the lamest thing done in the entire series - i wish they had did without the character altogether.
The Vision vs. Vision fight was quite a spectacle though and incredibly enjoyable to watch. Definitely no expenses were spared for the finale.
Did get a little overhyped, but there is so much more to come.
If I had to nitpick, I didn’t really enjoy Monica Raneau’s character so much. I felt the series easily could have done without her. The acting was bad, and her story was a bit lazy for Marvel’s standard(she got superpowers from entering the hex 3 times)?
And as great as Agatha was in the series, the finale let me down in that she predictably lost her battle with Wanda. Just seemed really contrived.
That said, I did really enjoy the emotional part, her goodbye to Vision and her kids.
Really looking forward to Falcon and Winter Soldier.

Agree on all counts. The battle between Agatha and Wanda was almost anti-climactic and there was such a buildup for Monica as Photon/Spectrum, that what we got was a huge disappointment.
Even White Vision was a letdown.i felt like the fight was entertaining and their philosophical debate was interesting. But, then Wanda's Vision just helps him with his memories and he flies off and the other Cision acts like nothing happened. It is highly likely that White Vision is slated for a larger role moving forward. But, I won't say it's obvious and I won't speculate because one thing this series did was build things up and leave us guessing or disappointed.
On the flip side, I may have been one of the few NOT disappointed with Pietro. I thought that would have been a weak way to introduce mutants into MCU. It was more of a gotcha moment and I was OK with that. That may also be because I wasn't terribly attached to the X men movies and not overly enamored with any characters other than Wolverine.
fully understand the second post-credit scene. Wanda is drinking tea on the porch of her cabin in the mountains but Scarlet Witch is in the bedroom controlling things?

And one question: What happened to White Vision?

I really enjoyed the fight between the Visions becoming a discussion. The ships of Theseus was a out of the box way to resolve those two.
All in all they laid out seeds for the next phase - the multiverse, nexus beings, Wanda being bigger than Dr Strange, mutants.

It also set up another bad guy in the movie but it has left it open to two or three different possibilities.
I suspect that now that Vision has his memories back. He will have another big role in the next Avengers movie.

Similar to Dr. Strange. Astral form.
