All of the focus for the Chicago Bears is on acquiring a quarterback, but not to be forgotten is what the team can do to improve the roster around that position. The thinking among multiple sources is the Bears have prioritized making a run at Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. |
If I’m the Jets, I target him. #2 + another first, and Becton, would get it done.
I would guess Seattle would laugh their asses off at that offer. The Bears really don’t have anything to offer that numerous other teams couldn’t easily beat.
I wouldn’t. Foles is garbage and would rather just not have his salary on the books. Mack’s premier days are over and would be a waste if you no longer have a qb. The 2 firsts aren’t enough.
I'll be stunned if Watson isn't traded.
And if the Texans are too stubborn, I fully expect Watson to make their lives even more miserable.
That situation broken in a million pieces.
Wilson is 50/50. If Seattle could get Dak, they would do it...IMV.
The Texans have been pretty firm on their stance thus far. It can change fast, but the trade would need to happen soon. Draft is fast approaching.
He could pull a hammy, wink wink, and then pull a Jalen Ramsey in Jax move. Tightness, sore back etc.
I can't see why Seattle would want to trade Wilson — unless they are going full rebuild and are not worried about improving they have today, just about improving the team they'll have in 2022 and onward.
If Seattle is indeed going to tear down the team and start over, then yes, they are going to want a haul of premium picks, and probably at least one young player at a premium position. If it's the Jets, I think the package starts at Becton, Darnold, this year's #2 overall, and at least one future first-rounder. And when I say "starts," I mean you make that offer, then you listen to Seattle's opening price and negotiate from there.
