Yep, apparently had issues for years.
I recall an ex-teammate from the Olympic team talking about
him a while back. He use to communicate with him, while he
was at that facility they found him at.

with Beck that to an extent the NHL and USA Hockey have their head in the sand re: CTE, but what did he think was going to happen if the Rangers or the NHL or USA Hockey did put out a statement in support of Pavelich?

He would still be alive?

But I also agree with Beck it wasn't asking a lot even in light of the legal issues with Pavelich.

They could just say something like "we cannot comment on the current legal issues/assault charges, but we fully hope Mark gets the hope and support he needs to recover"
