Don’t really know this mocker but really like this draft. And the 4th round pick solves the right guard problem. No one is really talking about Brown. Good mock for the Giants - ( New Window )
I absolutely hate that draft, and can't imagine DG would be interested in some of those picks.
Weaver ER and Brown OG are maybe the two guys I least want on the team. Brown looked awful in the Senior Bowlpractices, IIRC. AND Weaver's stock has been dropping like a rock.
Farley is one of the biggest boom or bust choices available in the top half of the 1st round. Not DG's MO, and this board will crucify DG after half a season of Farley "not getting it" as a pro.

Throw up level mock for me.
Not that I know anything...
Where did you see that Brown looked bad at the senior bowl?
"And the 4th round pick solves the right guard problem. No one is really talking about Brown."
So you know for a fact that this guys solves the RG problem? Sure and if he is that good why isn't he getting drafted prior to Round 4? I mean come on can we be a bit realistic. 4th round picks are hit or misses no slam dunks. You can;t run a football team thinking this way.
I wouldn't hate Farley, but he sat out 2020. I don't blame him for doing so, but would prefer not to use a first round pick on a player that did so. He also tore an ACL in 2017, and didn't start playing CB until college.
I don't think Weaver lasts until the third round.
Brown has suspensions as someone noted, and weighs 350 pounds.
Taking a different tack, we really need to trade down somewhere in this draft to accumulate more picks. It's time to have a draft where we get 8-10 prospects.
Defense with two of our three premium picks. No OL before the 4th. And when we’re again averaging 17 ppg next year will you be saying it’s ok because the D is good.

You mean like last year?
My least favorite first round pick has always been cornerback
It just bores me and usually concerns me that the player won’t be good enough because corners aren’t allowed to cover wrs like they used to. The last 3 first round corners all disappointed on a massive scale here. Prince, Apple and baker. I know that means nothing but the position is so hard to master from college to the nfl level, I’d just as soon sign the vet corner in FA and draft other positions that aren’t as unpredictable.
Take WR for example... the pro game favors the passing game. It favors the WR. That’s why there are so many good pro wrs lately.
Edge and WR in the draft.

Oline, Oline, and Oline.
RE: I usually HATE mock drafts, but this one is a WINNER.
It addresses the biggest needs, has some solid choices to address those needs, and is pretty realistic.
Except for Deonte Brown being some sort of solution. IMO, he's the type of player that DG's supporters will be able to use to prove that no one has a scholarship. He's a one-and-done NFL player. The tactical skills just aren't there, IMO.

We traded down last year? Please share the details of that transaction.

Who does DJ throw to? Offense was one of the worse in league. No TE, no one who goes down the field. They can’t score points in a passing league. I have been saying it for months. Look at the winning teams. They have not one but two TEs. Two WRs.
RE: RE: Aside from Marshall in Rd 2 and Pooka Williams in 6,
Where did you see that Brown looked bad at the senior bowl?
I listen to a ton of podcasts, and negative comments about Brown during the practices sessions were rampant. He was specifically noted for not moving defenders off the LOS, and looking rather sluggish.
More than one media member noted Briwn's lackluster performance.
On top of that, how many Bama OL have lived up to reputation recently?
Chance Warmack no
Carpenter no
Fluker no
The kid at Cincy and Wills last year were better, but long term Thomas will be much better than Wills, I'd bet.
but, like the positions his mock addresses.

Stayed longer than the allotted time at the buffet?
350 lbs concerns me a bit.

Maybe should have traded down.
