My top 15 mock draft with more trades

superspynyg : 3/27/2021 12:07 pm
Here is a top 15 mock draft with more trades that I think may occur. Some are self explanitory some i will elaborate. Plus I will do 2nd round picks as well.

#1 Jax Trevor Lawrence
#2 trade Carolina moves up to #2 with Jets to get a qb
Car Zach Wilson Qb BYU
#3 SF Justin Fields Qb OSU
$4 Atl TE Kyle Pitts
I do not think Atl goes Qb. Atl needs def but there is not one I would take over Pitts. Atlanta is not thrilled with the qbs left (Lance or Jones) goes with best player (not wr) and that is Pitts. Remember they took a 2 oline two year ago and still have Jake Matthews on a long term deal.
#5 Cincy Penei Sewell OT Oregon
#6 Mia Jamar Chase Wr LSU
#7 Det Jalen Waddle Alabama they need wrs and he is next on the list.
#8 Jets Micha Parsons PSU. Trade back allows Jets to take best def player in draft.
#9 Trade Bears Having missed out on jumping into top 3 Bears wait and get qb here.
Chi Tre Lance qb NDS
#10 Dal Patrick Surtain CB Alabama
#11 TRADE NE moves up
QB Mac Jones Belicheck/Sabin connection.
#12 Philly Devonta Smith wr Alabama
#13 LAC Rashawn Slater OT NW
#14 Minn Kwity Paye DE Mich

#15 GIANTS Greg Rousseau ER Miami.
At this point taking a shot on Rousseau and all his talents makes sense. I do not see them taking a OT here since they "like" Peart alot and if you take a OT here (who is not projected to be a guard like Slater is) then you are giving up on Peart and have been lying to us all this time. I am still for taking a ot in rd 2 as you will see.

Rd 2 #42 Walker Little OT Stanford. Camp battle between Little and Peart will be good for both plus Little gives us a good swing option for 4 years.

Rd 2 #47 Amon Ra St Brown. I love Brown as another weapon in this offense. He has great hands and is a solid route runner. He will step in game 1 and help us. I also like Nico Collins but I think he is gone by pick #47. SO what can Brown do to you?

asshat a few months ago said the Giants would not take Rousseau because he opted out and DG wants more of a sure thing at #11. I would pass on him and Farley for that reason. Rico also said that Parsons is not an option.

My tentative guess right now is that it will be Pitts, Waddle, Surtain, or a trade down in that order. If they do trade down then it will likely be Ojulari, Davis, or Oweh.

Judge is in charge now. DG is pretty much going to do what he wants. Which is as it should be.
I see Rousseau as a Bruce Smith type DE rather than a true Edge.

Agree or disagree?
pretty good ideas

i'm confident Rousseau is there at 11....risky thinking as he may not be there at 15....but i like the picks. I like Collins also
I would be happy

if the Giants were able to trade down and land Rousseau. As for round 2 I would prefer to see the Giants target a guard over Walker Little unless they feel that Little can play guard. Due to the season ending knee injury he suffered during the first game of the season in 2019 combined with him opting out of last season I think there is a good chance that Little is on the board in round 3. I'd prefer something like
1st - ER Greg Rousseau
2nd - WR Terrance Marshall
2nd - G Trey Smith
3rd - OT Walker Little

This would be a dream scenario. I’d love it!!

This would be a Jerry Reach draft ... no thank you.
i agree with you about Jets not going QB

and trading back. SF just made the Jets pick more valuable.

I could see the Giants and NE trading if NE truly want Mac Jones.

I don't get the love. He has an average first step, no technique, not particularly fast, doesn't always chase plays enthusiastically, got blocked at one point by a TE whom no one is talking about, got blocked at another point by a back. Why the interest, particularly in the first round? Seems insane to me.

Yeah, I agree. What little I have see, Rousseau seems to be a one move wonder, but a possible development guy with some talent potential.
I have a feeling I'm really not going to like the fact
jhibb : 3/27/2021 11:56 pm : link
that the Giants are picking right in between the Cowboys and Eagles. No matter how much I like the Giants' pick, I'm probably going to have to fight the disappointment of losing out on the guy the Cowboys pick and the disgust of leaving a guy (like Smith in this mock) for Philly.
I don’t see how Atlanta passes up

Picking a quarterback with their current draft slot. They are in desperate need for Matt Ryan’s successor. Next year is a down year for quarterbacks, too.
