Would be for Surtain, Slater and Pitts to be off the board by their pick at 10.
Don’t think they’d take a WR given what they have, and may lean toward either the injury risk Farley or more likely Parsons who might self destruct in their environment. If not they’d probably reach for defense.
Your thoughts?
Ok then: 4QBs, Sewell, Slater, Chase, Pitts and Surtain go 1-9 in no particular order.

They just draft Sewell

That would definitely be a f*ck Dallas scenario especially if it turns out that teams have QB5 significantly below the rest so nobody wants to trade up to 10
2nd vs 1st rd is big difference in risk tolerance
He’s a better corner IMO than Surtain
I'll take Dallas picking 10th over Dallas picking 32nd any day. They sucked.
+1
Their starters are Amari Cooper (26 years old), Michael Gallup (25 years old), and CeeDee Lamb (21 years old) - pretty young staff .... BUT, the only one up there that is proven is Cooper.
They might want to upgrade at the other 2?

This is the answer to the question.
They have one of the best if not the best young WR trios in the game with Dak coming back.
We could only be that lucky as Giants fans if we had that trio on our team.
WTF? Were you one of the Giants fans rooting for the Eagles to beat the Pats in the SB too.?
I agree with you on the Giants focusing on themselves but to hell with the rest of the teams in the Division. They can’t suck enough for my liking.

Upgrade Cee Dee? He looked pretty good for a rookie with less than optimal QB situation. I also think Gallup will be a good pickup when he leaves Dallas. Can't imagine WR is high on Dallas' list.

I get what your saying wahoo ... but, when it comes to Jerry - who knows what the hell happens.
Here is the ..... problem - in the good ole days we could count on him screwing it up. Now, I think they finally reigned in the control of the draft from him. So they might make a more rational decision.

This is the answer to the question.
Oh please, you will say that about any Cowboys pick. Horn flashes, has size, and looks great in underwear, but for all of his tools he had a lot of bad tape in college that would be fouls in NFL (sort of like Eli Apple). Surtain had much more consistent production.
I guess they have to decide between a OL or the BPA of defense. Either way I expect them to compete strongly for the division.

It wasn't I who said Horn was better than Surtain.
The question was was if these players were off the board, one of them being Surtain, who would Dallas choose? The answer is Horn.
If Surtain is there that's who Dallas will choose.
The NFC East picks are as follows:
Dallas Patrick Surtain
Giants Micah Parsons
Eagles Jaycee Horn
WFT Mac Davis

I think OL. Dak is very over rated but they painted themselves into that corner and paid him. Now unless they fix that OL they aren't competing for anything. He needs Elliot and that OL to make teams stack the box. Like Lynch did for Wilson. Ad he's not as good as Wilson
