Alright, let’s get this thing rolling. While we are starting early, the clock won’t officially start until
Monday, April 5th at 9am. The draft will run from 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday until the start of the NFL Draft (Thursday, April 29th) or the completion of the 7th round. Please remember to use the DISCUSSION thread so we can keep this thread uncluttered.
Once a team is on the clock, they will have two hours to make a selection. If a team goes on the clock after 4pm, their two-hour window will roll over to the next day. For example, if you go on the clock at 4:30pm, you will have until 9:30 am to make a selection. Picks may be made between 6pm and 9am if GMs are online and following the draft thread. The time limit only applies during the 9am to 6pm timeframe. If the two hour time limit expires, I will make a pick using any list that the GM for the team has sent me in advance (send lists to the email address in my profile) or in the absence of a list, I will use the GBN Big Board with a little discretion so as not make an obvious dumb pick (i.e. Kansas City won’t be taking a QB in the 1st round this year). If a GM misses two consecutive picks without providing a prospect list or making some form of contact with me (email or posting on the draft thread) the spot will be reassigned to one of the BBIers who have expressed an interest to fill the vacancy.
Please utilize the
BBI Mock Draft Spreadsheet . The spreadsheet contains the draft order (RD1-7) by team and GM with a fairly comprehensive list of prospects based on the GBN Big Board (as well as several other prospects that did not make the GBN Big Board). I will try to keep the spreadsheet and thread updated as often as possible… Good luck!

Don't forget you have another very soon
Charles Snowden, LB, University of Virginia
We had a fifth-round grade on Snowden’s tape, discounted a bit for the ankle surgery. Physically, he resembles the Giants’ Cam Brown. Doubt he’ll beat many NFL tackles coming off the edge, which is why he lasted this long. But he really helped himself in interviews: solid kid, smart, and eager to learn. Moved around to very different roles at UVA, and made plays on specials. We think he can do a lot of things for us.
Snowden wasn't on my list.

Tyler Vaughns - WR - USC
Wyatt Hubert, Edge, Kansas State
Josh Imatorbhebhe, WR/TE/Freak, University of Illinois
Granted, it's not ideal when a player's most impressive highlight is a vertical leap in tights and a fluorescent muscle shirt. Reminds me of Robert Gallery eliciting oohs and ahs at the 2004 Combine. There are far safer picks available, and we'll chase some of them in the UDFA phase. The upside here was too much to resist this late in the draft, as we build up the long-term receiving corps for Justin Herbert . The coaching staff promised to work overtime with this kid if we picked him, and we think the vets can help him too, especially Keenan Allen and Jared Cook. Not much to lose at #198, and a lot to gain.
