He seems like a good, solid guy. Had a tough start with how/where he got drafted after a pretty celebrated college career, and then had some brutal injuries. Maybe things would’ve been different if he started somewhere else when he came to the NFL, but I’m glad he is still working in the league. I wish him good luck!
Yeah, which is why I can't understand why they let him walk and prefer Glennon. Can't ask much more of your backup, and he's now familiar with the system...
RE: Don't know about y'all, but I'm on pins and needles waiting
at least he is still employed in this league.
I don't even think the Giants would even get a 7th rounder
for someone like McCoy, at this stage of where he's at.
If he was 4 inches taller and 15 pounds heavier, he would have been

One of the reporters stated that it was money related as in the Giants wanted Colt to accept a pay cut. He didn't so the the Giants offer the lower amount to Glennon who accepted.
Agree, Glennon has a better arm. I'm in favor of signing him.
I thanked McCoy because that Seattle game was terrific. He made some plays to help us pull off the upset. Also good with Jones in the QB Room from all reports.
1) Crazy as it sounds, McCoy may have the most exciting and biggest Giants win since 2016.
2) I have no problems with McCoy. I wouldn't have minded holding on to him as the backup. He's not great, but he knew his role, was prepared, and did what he was asked.
3) Glennon is a more talented athlete. Is he any better at being an NFL QB than McCoy? I'm not saying he's not. I'm just asking. But, I think he was cheaper, which does makes sense to sign him.
The Seattle win was the best Giants win in awhile, hell even including 2016. I don't recall a memorable 2016 win, though it was a winning season. Perhaps I'm forgetting the game...the Ravens win in '16 was exciting, but it was @ home. Going to Seattle & winning with a backup QB? Man, that's up there.

You're right. I should have said "at least since 2016".

Agree. That Seattle win was one for the ages. I do think Glennon is a significant upgrade in arm strength. He can get the ball down the field in ways they Colt can not. But, that’s not really saying a lot as Colt is pretty much the bottom of the barrel in terms of “arm talent”. I don’t understand the whole QB2 as a coach idea. Seems like there should be competition but no team really does this. Anyway, good luck Colt.
Good luck Colt
Good luck Colt
Yes. It ended up not leading to anything, but that was such a fun game and win! Definitely won't be forgotten anytime soon.
He also seemed to heed the coaches to not screw this up. Really good backup.
Good luck Colt
That was probably the most exciting game I've seen from us in years.
LOL! You're treading on thin ice!

Nevertheless, thanks Colt McCoy...
