Its Masters week......can jordan roll his long lost A game into Augusta as a favorite? All week he putted masterfully, kept the ball in play and held on today to win in texas after a long, struggling drought, he and his caddy's strategic discussions are very interesting........a “miked up” without any bleeps!!!
He's 27 years old. Disappointment? Three of four majors won. 12 wins at age 27. Disappointment?
You want to see disappointment see Rickie Fowler.

Thought he was going to be an all-time great. And he interviewed beautifully, a really class act. What a disappointment he's been. Too much success too easily? It would be so nice to see him come back.

Rather rash, eh?
I think Justin Thomas and Dustin Johnson will be favorites. I think Spieth needs a couple more wins to get his swagger back. He's been getting closer and closer each tourny this year. Today he did not crack.

Rickie Fowler was a media creation, more of a personality than a great golfer. Spieth was a great golfer for a couple/few years. He won majors. He was the favorite every time he played. And then he just fell off a cliff. He hasn't been close to special for 4-5 years. So, yeah, a disappointment. Without looking it up, I'd bet that almost everything he's accomplished, he'd accomplished by the time he was 23. I hope more than anything he can get his shit together again. How many people are disappointed that Tiger hasn't done anything in about 10 years? He was supposed to make everyone forget Jack.

FWIW, Spieth made the one mistake that kills many golfers - changing his swing to hit it longer. He felt his 285-290 was not long enough compared with the others like Thomas, Johnson and McIlroy. His game early on was his short game especially his long putting. The bad play off the tee box put far too much pressure on his short game and often leaving him bad lies from long distances.
I think perhaps a slight tweak to your statement could be made - it was a disappointment to not see him win more often, not that he was a disappointment. Semantics, yes, but nothing about Spieth is a disappointment.
I'll be rooting for Spieth, he's definitely my favorite Golfer in the post-Tiger era.

Disagree. Butch asked Ricky "do you want to be a major winner or a Kardashian". That didn't come from nowhere. That said, I'm a fan, but the excessive number of loose irons in big spots was indeed disapppointing.
Overall, he'll be a very good player, but not a dominant one.
