If we had both in our offense, that would be quite a unique offense. I imagine a lot of two, or three tight end sets with Rudolph. Forcing the defenses to play linebackers or big nickel, and if we can run the ball, I can imagine the play action would be killer. Teams probably have to double golladay, and if not, you could just throw it up and with his contested catch ability he should win a fair amount of battles. Or you spread it out wide and have the linebackers and safeties have to guard Pitts and Engram at the same time.
Any thoughts?

Unless they run routes where Pitts runs a 5 yard deeper route, and crosses behind Engram to catch his bobbled up gaffes

LOL
Yeah, no, if they draft Pitts who I'm doubting falls as far as 11, they pretty much have to trade EE
He's been remarkably, consistently the exact same guy since he's gotten here. He's proven about as consistently as anyone I've ever seen that he can't do it.
I've said this before - at this point there is no need to get mad at Evan Engram. You can only get mad at the Giants for putting him back out there. I am one of the few people who was pissed we didn't make the Playoffs last year, and it's because of Engram.
Pitts won t be there’, Smith will.
But I do hate what often happens when the Giants try to utilize him on offense, and I wish him well elsewhere.

Yeah, this. It reminds me of a drummer I once played with who, for the most part, sounded pretty good in rehearsal and fulfilled his basic duties a good percentage of the time, but you could always count on him for at least one fuck up every gig.
It's tough to say goodbye to such players when you don't yet have an adequate replacement, but I feel like he's always going to hold us back.
