Big change near the top, with Aaron Judge getting the night off. On the surface, it seems like an odd move since he’s hit a home run in two straight games and Thursday is a scheduled off day for the club.
It would go much further to just be honest about what the vaccine does and doesn't do. People are less likely to be stupid if you aren't selling them on something.
Would have had one there if El Fatso ran hard out of the box.
Most frustrating Yankee ever. Maybe not as much as Ellsbury, but Gary is up there.
Gary owes Tauchman a steak after that one. That’s twice Gary was lazy on the bases tonight...he almost got thrown out at second on Gio’s single earlier on bc he was loafing. Inexcusable he wasn’t hustling all the way to second in the 8th.
He’s hit two rocket doubles tonight, but if Boone is any kind of manager he has to shred him for his lack of hustle
Yup as bad as that throw was, a major league 1B should be able to pick that one. But no excuse for Torres. I think FMIC may be right, Torres double clutching a lot on his throws, it’s getting mental
In his pregame press conference, manager Aaron Boone said Judge has some side soreness, hence a seat on the bench.
Aaron Judge sits, Jameson Taillon makes 1st start since 2019 - ( New Window )
Yikes
You are a real treasure. Miserable fuck.

Keep Tachman on the bench for Gardner who should have never been signed. Great organization.

Hes not only really miserable, but I have been calling him a dummy for years now. Wrong about everything.
He is obviously a sox and sandals kind of guy,but he probably introduces himself as Paul N when he meets people at parties.
The day after Gardy delivers a double and 2 walks from the 3 hole? you really need to pick your spots better man
You understand that Tauchman will never be as good as Gardner, right?
Another inning hitting Means hard. Gotta break through next inning.
Grooved a belt high fastball that time. Hope he can settle down, a little rustiness coming through
Yup--maddening.
Of course it doesn't help that poor Gardy has a fork sticking out of his back.

Bruce ain't my 1B.
Now make it count. Drive him in.

Great histle!
that was a great play to cut that off in the gap. That relay by Galvis was pretty bang/bang to make that as close as it was.
Tauchman can move. His straightline speed is good, but his baserunning instinct from reactions to angles to judgement is elite.

Respectfully, Ellsbury was never a Yankee.
That aside, super clutch hit by Gio and amazing base running by Tauchman, great play
Let's get at least one here.
Torres screwed the pooch, but Bruce didn’t exactly remind anyone of Donnie Baseball there.
