I just started watching Columbo, I'm pretty hooked so far, I've started recording them. The 70's were so different than today its fun to look through that lens. The show starts off with the crime and you watch Columbo piece it together. The show is 1.5 to 2 hrs long! Columbo is on Sundays on ME TV. If you are a fan of the show, holler at me!
ANy other older shows you have started watching or would recommend? Enjoy all types of programming.
Also watching Three Stooges. Some of their stuff is SO inappropriate by today's standards, but hilarious.
Love that show... McGavin is fantastic in his role.
Also, just found out that DeNiro was supposed to be Josh in "Big" instead of Tom Hanks. What does that movie look like..
It was so good when it aired back in the day! So true too, McGavin was such an underrated actor and his role in the Night Stalker was so enjoyable. Really brings back memories.
“ horror in the heights is great”
Not old shows but shows that were popular that I didn’t watch
The Americans Enjoyed it a lot
Finally started mad men. Thru series 1, slow but I enjoy it. Wife literally can’t watch because they are way to condescending to females. She isn’t a snowflake at all but after watching it I get her point.
But I am sure the show will evolve in that respect as it goes thru the 1960s
Remember Colombo, gonna look for it again
Been watching seasons 3 and 4 recently and really enjoying.
In some ways it was ahead of its time. In the first seven episodes of Season 1 from Nineteen Sixty whatever they've already dealt with sexual harassment and child abuse.
But I still like all the old classics, especially westerns like Bonaza, Maverick, etc
M*A*S*H is still fun and the old Carson shows are on some oldies channel.
Fun to rewatch what was once must see viewing.
“Solid.” ✊🏾
Arthur Spooner >>>> Frank Costanza. Stiller is hilarious in that role - similar to a Frank Costanza role, but much more funny.
show is actually pretty funny
On Hulu.
