The good news, this year, going into the draft and the regular season, the Giants have already done a very good job of bolstering the roster (with veteran players like Galladay, Rudolph and Jackson).
As I’ve said before, I think the Giants were two (at most three players) away from being a consistent play-off contender. Last year proved it; with the best player on IR (Barkley) and the best receiver hobbled most of the year (Slayton) , they were in play-off contention until the last day of the season.
The biggest remaining need is a QB disrupter. There is no “gold jacket” type of that kind (edge), just some good ones in this draft. Receivers Smith (and maybe Waddle) are that kind of players - players who can take-over a game. If by some kind of miracle, Smith would fall to us, never-mind the need or that we just signed Galladay; you just can’t pass on that kind of talent.
If we learned anything from the Super Bowl is that even Superman (Patrick Mahomes) cannot deliver the trophy, if he’s running for his life all day; a continuing influx of young top shelf talent on the offensive line is vital
There’s no guarantee that Barkley is fully recovered, so a rock-solid thumper at RB would really help.
So, given the above arguments, I present my 2021 NY Giants draft. The idea is to pick the best player available at positions of need, while using some popular Internet guides to ascertain the likelihood of each selected player being available when the Giants pick.
Note: The following web site - “The Draft Network” has pretty decent draft evaluations on 99% of the players that will available on the NFL draft day, (just refresh your computer to select the next player).

I’m loving the first two rounds. Smith or Paye would be terrific value, and while I think you can get that same RB a round or so later, I think he is going to be a beast in the NFL. He doesn’t have many miles on the odometer, so that’s a great value in round 4 IMO
My favorite pick for the entire draft is round 2/Wyatt Davis... he is exactly what we need. A powerhouse, ready to start from day 1 RG. This kid only drops because he got hurt in the title game and He def has some techniques to work on, but he’s Pro ready polished and ready to play at a high level from jump.
I can’t wait for the draft hahah
But I can state how impressed I am by your post, wow! Well done.
But........
Love Rhamondre but he will be there in 4th
Love Slayton but he will be there with second 6th round pick
Third round. Get your edge. Payton Turner from Houston
Not in love with Heggie. But still love your mock

BTW. If I’m taking Turner then I’ll pass on Tarron and take corner Kay Vincent
Davis RG
Turner edge
Stevenson RB
Vincent CB
Slayton nose tackle
There are a lot of good interior linemen throughout the draft but edge rushers are scarce
Not certain who would be available
Have to disagree. Getting a top WR and finishing the OL rebuild are the top priorities. Getting a top Edge can wait. You can’t fix everything. We aren’t going to the SB this year.
Remember, the playoff teams overcome injuries, at least to a point. Giants are working towards becoming a deeper team to overcome the injuries that happen each year.

Please explain to me why a guy like Paye projected to be anywhere from a 15th and down pick would be a great value at 11?
Would cure our OBJ hang-over, beyond that I hear that he's a terrific human being. Adding him makes the Giants' offense formidable (top 2 or 3 best receiving corps).
On defense - an edge, we're one payer away. On that side of the ball; we got coach Patrick Graham, that's a BIG deal.
