Getting Pitts, Sewell or Surtain. Maybe not Parsons either.
Philly is behind us, so I'm less concerned.
As I've stated many times before, the Alabama WRs Waddle and D Smith concern me due to their injury history and / or small frame.
So while I don't wish ill on Waddle or D Smith, having one of them end up in Dallas (unlikely) and the other in Philly (more likely) and having them have less than stellar careers based on my concerns would be fine with me.
I don't want either Dallas or Philly to get a solid OL, CB or TE that will torment us for the next 10 years.
that everyone is afraid to draft because there is documented proof that Phillips hit his head 1-2 times. Dallas loves drafting that player and it usually pays off.
I think the Giants will draft Phillips. He played in 2020. I can't help but laugh when fans get the vapors because a player has a concussion history. Uh, they probably all do. Phillips is just documented.
Every player is one hit away. If we pas on Phillips we better be damn sure we didn't just let a blue chip passrusher slip through our fingers.
Philly, it really doesn't matter, they are a mess.
I agree. This is probably the only one for either team. Their receivers are already incredibly tough to cover. Add in Pitts and we are likely playing in the Dime most of the game so the run game could get cooking. Although, I am confident in our D line keeping Martinez and Peppers clean to make tackles. That crew could be banking on scoring a ton of points and making opponents settle for FGs. Pitts to Dallas would be brutal.

But to tell you the truth, I don't care who those teams get. I just want the Giants to hit on their picks. If the Giants draft and play well enough, it won't matter who Philly and Dallas get.
The draft is such a crapshoot. You can't really predict who's going to be a stud or just an ok starter or a flat-out bust. That's true whether you are hoping for a player (we're looking at you, Robert Gallery) or hoping your rivals don't get a player. No one's a sure thing. Trevor Lawrence looks like the closest thing to a sure thing and some analysts predict he won't be the best QB in the class, so...
I don't want them getting any of the pass catchers...

You know what, it already happened with Jaylon Smith. People were saying his career was over and he is one of the best LBs in the game.

Smith was terrible this past season. Incredibly overrated.
I hope one of them drafts Smith. I believe we will beat the living shit out of him. Dude will never make it through a 17 game season in this league. He might make some catches and score a few TDs but he will pay for it. At 167 lbs he is going to get killed out there.

Smith is not going to "get killed out there" just because you've decided he's not durable due to his size.
Smith didn't miss a game at Alabama during the last 3 years while playing in the SEC. He took a licking and kept on ticking to the tune of 117 rec./1856 yds./23 TDs this year.
Smith is my #1 choice at 11 and I hope the Giants get him.
Also why I want the Giants to get Waddle.
U also don't want either to land Parsons.
Really hope Dallas lands Surtain. The Eagles will probably end up with Parsons because that's what I fear the most.

anyone else don't care

Zero chance pitts falls to philly at 12.
If Fields or Lance goes to Philly, that is great, great insurance if Hurts isn't the guy.

It doesn't matter what Philly does. That team has collapsed and they'll be picking high next year.
So I don't hope they get either of those guys and we get one of them!

And Parsons to Dallas. Very real possibility both happen.
Zero chance pitts falls to philly at 12.
And I now I remember that Philly traded down from 6 -12 already.... Completely forgot when I posted that.
Sewell is the other option, but very unlikely he falls that far. Would bet the house against it.
If those three players are gone, I would guess Parsons or Farley.
Philadelphia is going WR or Parsons, I believe. Smith or Waddle should be available to them.
This is my nightmare as well.
