the draft fell like this or something close to it, I can definitely see why the Giants would consider Parsons at #11.
Jags: T. Lawrence
Jets: Z. Wilson
49ers: J. Fields
Atl: K. Pitts
Cinc: P. Sewell
Miami: J. Chase
Det. D. Smith
Car. R. Slater
Den: T. Lance
Dal: P. Surtain
Interesting that Kwity Paye is not on her list.
Again, and I was chastised by stoned ass Milton, but the only thing being reported is that Parsons was involved in having in SOME way. Apparently according to Milton, us fans have no right for requesting elaboration. Despite my not asking for that, I find it more than just a bit telling that Parsons did something so egregious but no media will leak that info.
His agent either has very deep pockets, or something is fishy.
There was a report of him hazing right? And some pretty intense stuff no? There's always a few guys like that in football lockerrooms and they make things way worse. When it gets to that point it's certainly not isolated behavior. Can he grow up? Possibly, but it's against him being a first round draft pick. I'd rather have the LT's of the world.
That being said Parsons is a solid fit for the defense as its currently constructed and what Graham wants to do and I trust Judge in this aspect, especially since we've purged the locker room at this point. But a lot like the Deandre Baker pick, I think it sends the wrong message.
No, I dont know any details nor heard of any! This isnt Richie Igcognito shit....to this point, all hearsay. JPP had a more in-line accusation and he has done just fine since. But Milton wanted to make it a point to tell me I dont have the right to want to know what happened and that we should just believe what we hear.
Thats literally the truth. If he lit a guys balls on fire, I figured we'd know about it. But if "hazing" means he was thrown in an ice tub I would prefer the on field maniac who is a school yard bully over Mike Mamula or Odiguizuhwa pt 2.
if he is not a locker room cancer, and this defense is really scary..
He is versatile, he can play inside, he can play outside, he can cover, he can rush the passer, he can stop the run, he is a 3 down LB..
Defense becomes even more versatile..
From what I have read, he cannot cover, and he cannot play inside very well because he has poor instincts and mediocre talent for getting through trash.
He's great when he is unblocked, though.
RE: After DeAndre Baker, the Giants cannot afford the possibility
That said, his skillset seems to fit exactly how Graham manufactures a pass rush. He can line up anywhere and be used as part of the pressure packages.
And having Martinez at MLB telling him what to do would be huge.
listed by every member of BBI...obviously they are not interested in QBs, kickers, safeties and RBs at #11 and probably not TEs either(except Pitts).
Leaves, CBs, WRs, ERs and maybe LBs. Pick the top 2 at each position and that is the interest list.
RE: Ultimately I hope they take the best player available
Slightly different, no Paye in op’s list, this list has no ranking:

As mentioned on
@NFLTotalAccess
, I confirmed today that these 6 are AMONG the players the #NYG are considering w/the 11th overall pick:
Azeez Ojulari, GA, edge
Micah Parstons, PSU, LB
Kwity Paye, Mich, edge
Rashawn Slater, NU, T
Patrick Surtain, Ala, CB
Jaylen Waddle, Ala, WR
That said, his skillset seems to fit exactly how Graham manufactures a pass rush. He can line up anywhere and be used as part of the pressure packages.

I dont think Parsons is the pick. I think its down to Paye and Smith. Ojulari a distant 3rd.
Not sure how I feel about it as they werent my favorites at the beginning of this process, but I find the outrage for either being the pick a head scratcher. Both were used in a multitude of ways. One measured out at the top of the charts for their position, but while not having major numbers to speak of, was incredibly disruptive at multiple positions. The other was enormously productive this past year, including a legendary performance in the biggest game of the year, but did not even test and has a questionable physique.
Those sound like 11th overall pick profiles to me. I think Paye or Smith would be fine picks.
The more I'm coming to terms that Parson's may not be there at the end of the day, we keep talking about it like its a certain but it really isn't. Dallas for example, needs defensive help in the worst way and is famous for taking on guys with character questions (though its starting to come out that there isn't much to this with Parsons).
When I see guys like Ojulari on these lists I can't help but wonder if the Giants are digging into "trade back" targets as well. Like Ojulari, good player, not at 11.
I've seen Paye mocked all over the place, including all the way
I think if there is that little comnsensus on a person, then he is not unique enough for a #11 pick (which is really the number 6 player in the draft once you take the QB's out). Move back and get him (or one of the several others of his ilk) if you are set on that position.
Chopper I have no issue with what JPP did tbh. Eli Apple was clearly
a weak dude and these guys can sniff that shit out from a mile away. Hence the really tame thing of throwing him in an ice bath.
This is what is alleged he did and it only took a quick google search. Now whether it's true or not I have no idea, but this is way worse than what JPP did.
Still like seeing parsons and waddle.

No surprise that Kim Jones would put a Penn State LB at the top of her list.
What is the question about Parsons character? I have seen him maligned but still nothing at all that you can hang your hat on to say he is a bad kid.
If he has a temper problem, good. I like LBers with a temper problem. A lot of you guys wouldn't have drafted LT.
This is the best LBer prospect I've seen in a long time.

Those are the two freaks of nature on that list. I like them both an awful lot.

They haven’t until your reminder..

The Giants staff better do their homework if he is on their radar.

Lol
Maybe someone should send DG a letter to be sure? I say send an email, but I’m not sure if he knows how to check those
