Season Tickets Question

bigfrank612 : 4/14/2021 9:17 am
Hey guys, figured most on here could help. Been to plenty of Giants games, but last year I finally purchased season tickets, PSL and all that expensive stuff. Of course Covid hit and ruined it all. Looking forward to this year, but wanted to know if anyone knew typically when they send out the tickets? I know this year could be a lot different with the wait to see if fans will be full 100% attendance, but I figured they got sent out after the schedule was released? May? Thanks in advance.
Call the ticket office....they are very helpful

Jonesin 4 A Ship : 4/14/2021 9:31 am : link

It is typically about 10-14 days before the first preseason game

No problem! They said that you will need to smartphone with you at the stadium to "present" your tickets. If you dont have a smartphone, contact them to see if there are options. But she reiterated that physical tickets will not be sent out anymore.

The "Down in Front " crowd, but I am not happy about digital tix. I collect all my "Hard copy" game tickets. Have hundreds all the way back into the 80's. Digital is not the same.
Hard copies used to ship first week of July

Electronically they will be probably a few weeks after the schedule is announced providing you are paid up. Otherwise you may have to wait until your invoice is paid.

Agree. I have been using the electronic since 2004 and preserved the ST "plates" and have them hanging on the wall as artwork.

the electronic tickets and app on gameday didn't work worth a shit (I've had trouble launching the app at the gate), so I hope they have the kinks worked out.
Hope for the best expect the worst. Which could also be the title of the video yearbook.
In past years you got paper tickets and

could do digital at the gate. I agree, it was a total cluster.. At the gate because people had issues uploading and many attendants had problems as well.
What section are all of you guys in?

Yep, me too since 1997....so I guess that ends for me too.

Thing I don't like about the app....say your phone dies. Or doesn't work......

I always think about this with two authentication for getting into other things (like work, or a bank account). If you really need access and your phone dies, you're screwed. (But I guess you could say that about your laptop too).

Which endzone? 250b here.
The issue was partially the app but more so the connection
bhill410 : 4/15/2021 6:50 pm : link
I remember it taking like 20 min to download and then you needed it to be connected so the bar could move back and forth to verify. It was an utter disaster.
There is also a major issue when you are with groups
upstatenyg : 4/20/2021 10:57 am : link
Having a once a year guest download the app, set up a log in, and be able to navigate the ticket section is hard.

Digital tix also creates a major problem with ticket checks on entry and too easy for people to move around, just say the tickets are on a different phone, etc.

I have suggested to then in the past to have a physical card, or wristband, something you could show and get to your seat, something you could give to your friends attending with you, and then collect.
