I LOVE basketball. I have given thought to taking a volunteer assistant job locally to get into coaching, but have to get other things figured out first. I have walked off the court with a swollen eye from a non accidental elbow with a grin on my face just so I could get to play on the same court with the same guys next time I came out.
The NBA is a terribly predatory product. The game sucks with how its being governed. When a foul got called the other night against the Grizz when the Knicks had a 5 point lead and Burks had his guy beaten tells you all you need to know about this shit. The NBA is the boy band of all the major sports. It 100% lacks soul.
Dude it because doubling Randle is the priority and Paytons game is practically entirely in the paint. They arent NOT guarding him because they dont respect him as a player. They respect Randle as the primary Knicks scorer an choose to double the best player on the team.
