beginning maybe w/ 1st Islanders game, and on display since, is the short area passing on breakouts from their defensive end and in neutral ice. Quick accurate passes virtually w/o hesitation, some half blind, right to a breaking d-man or wing...better yet, receiving these crisp passes without bobbling the puck or it bouncing off a stick to a waiting defender. Very impressive, and across most lines and the d.

If other teams would stop rolling over for the Bruins, the Rangers might have a chance. But the Rangers probably dug themselves too big a hole.

I firmly believe that. First two months: 2-4-6 over 19 games. Last two months: 13-15-28 over 24 games.

Panarin missing 11 games or whatever it was didn't help either.

Three of the top four (maybe top five?) most valuable players had some issue this year.
