a move down would tell me NYG is looking defense and Edge Rusher in particular. Getting a 3rd and a 5th round pick would be fair compensation to move back.

That and a fourth or fifth is little incentive.

I'd consider a trade of first picks if they flip their second for our third.

take a third (even a comp pick) and a fifth to move back to 15, assuming we aren't in love with a particular player. But I am most interested in targeting edge rushers, and there will still be plenty at #15.

We get either the the Pats second round pick or their third along with their first, Smith drops, honestly I don't think he makes it past the iggles , but if he does, is it possible he get's by the next two. Then we take him. Trade our second and either Pat pick whether it be a second or a third to move up to the first, maybe top twenty, definitely top 25, and nail, Paye, Phillips, Ojlari, Oweh, or Parsons (who falls because of character issues). It's a roll of the dice but it might just work.

Might as well drop back and get a bunch of picks.

my initial thought was if anybody had any clues as to what San Diego or Minny was trying to draft. And if it came out roses I could circle jerk myself.

^This. But the comp would need to be better especially for a Qb. Teams always pay more if they are moving up for a QB
