I read a NY Post article about that movie a couple years ago. The plot and script and final product was far from what was initially intended by almost all involved which is often the case with historically bad movies
"new" movie I've seen in the past decade is King of Staten Island.
worth watching, but not to spoil anything I was interested in it because it was supposed to be I thought autobiographical about Pete Davidson's life and I thought his father was a firefighter who lost his life in 9-11 but that's not exactly how the movie goes for some reason.
MUCH better of the two movies on Steve Prefontaine. Very well done and has Donald Sutherland as Oregon and Olympic coach (and Nike Founder) Bill Bowerman. Olympic Race scenes are almost identical to legendary 1972 race (including the actual race call). Billy Crudup is great as Prefontaine. Also loved Monica Potter as Prefontaine's girlfriend.
It's full of fictions (a generous word for misrepresentation, deception, and outright fabrications) from start to finish. "JFK" breakdown, scene by scene - ( New Window )
Whenever I hear about that movie I think of the Seinfeld where they mocked it with Kramer getting spit on by Keith Hernandez and then you find out Roger McDowell was the second spitter. They filmed it to look like it was from the 60’s lol.
Neumann to Hernandez: “Nice game pretty boy!”
Kramer: “I’m hit!”

Travolta has really done some shitty movies. Seems like Savages was the first good one he had done in ages.
Thats actually a good one. Shot Caller I watched again recently and it is still awesome.
I loved him in "Phenomenon" and funny thing, Forrest Whitaker was great too. Both actors sucked the big one in Battlefield Earth...an embarrassment to the movie industry!

Definitely very up and down from a movie perspective. I think the worst one I have seen is his him playing John Gotti. It was free on Netflix a year or so ago and I watched about 10 minutes and it was so bad I couldn’t continue lol.

I can't speak to the script or what changes were made, but I've actually read the source material upon which the movie is allegedly based and it's one of the worst pieces of shit I've ever read. High School creative writing bad. Awful.
LOL!!!
"A Mighty Wind"- C. Guest mockumentary about a reunion concert for folk music performers
"That Thing you Do" - Story of a one-hit wonder band
Fight Club
It's great! But it's terribly sad.
Wind River
The Baytown Outlaws
But they're not for the kids.
Svengoolie in the house.

worth watching, but not what I expected.
Wind River
Copland is a very underrated movie. Great cast.

I recommend it.
Harry Dean Stanton in Lucky is a smaller movie also with a good story and worth the viewing.
Enjoy.
