That was his last shot at serious money, back in 2018. I don't think he was all that good with Washington, and now he's a year-to-year filler vet. You could do worse at the bottom of the roster, obviously.
We have Breeland Speaks. Jake Breeland might be available from Baltimore. Bashaud Breeland would be my third-choice Breeland, if we're still in that market.
They want to bring everyone they are interested in, then after we see how the draft falls,if we were not able to add another corner through the draft then they will add one of the corners that they had in for a visit.
I will owe you all an apology if he is released before camp but indications are that he will compete for a roster spot. If he gets beat out for a job that's one thing, but the idea that he will not even make it to camp is just click bait from one of the clueless beat reporters. The Giants would've released him by now if they don't want him around as you all speculate.
I'd imagine all the vets are in case they don't draft a CB high
or maybe a signal to the league that if they want Surtain/Horn, they can't take for granted that the NYG won't take them at #11.
I know this may trigger those that love ranting on the draft capital spent at the position, but as of today they could use a CB just as much as they could use a WR. 3 CB's essentially play every down and right now there are just 3 locks for the position - Bradberry, Holmes, Jackson.
Yiadom is probably better than 50% likely to be on the 53 but nobody else is. If there is a good CB on the clock whenever they select and they take him, that player will likely end up playing a good amount of snaps this year.

Multiple reports have been out there he's in the doghouse with the new coaches, even before the opt out. He's still here, presumably he'll get a shot in camp, but he's got a tall mountain to climb to make the team. They're obviously still building the unit.
Or looking CB in the draft. Clearly want another vet CB for depth.
