Charlie Morton vs. Jameson Taillon
he hit .244 for the Mets in 2017, had Tommy John in 2018 after playing 4 games and missed the season. He was DFAed in 2019 after hitting .087 in 10 games as a 30 year old catcher. Hard to criticize the Mets on this one.
Ugh.
The Chauvin verdict is coming any minute.

The braves know that travis hit like 3 (or 2) homers in a single game against the yankees when he was on the rays

Another player that treats the Yankees like his private biotches....
3 Homeruns, 6 RBI, 3 walks in 7 games at yankee stadium in 2019. He definitely likes playing at Yankee Stadium.
You can’t criticize the Mets for letting him go at the time. He was off-Injured and not hitting. He went to Tampa Bay where he finally stayed healthy and lived up to his potential. He was absolutely incredible last season for the Braves with a 144 wRc+ and a .919 OPS.

I didn't blame anybody or even insinuate it. I asked what they missed because he turned it around right after he left NYM. I suppose they ran out of patience...which is reasonable. It was truly a question

I wasn’t attacking you I was just stating that they basically ran out of patience which in hindsight was a mistake. With him it was always a question of health not talent.
That would require us to score
They look completely lost
Not even close.
Love that Giambi-stache he is rocking.
Love it when CF looks up and breaks down to a trot...
1-1
Disagree. He just needs some ABs and Morton isn't easy to hit against.

Tauchman first on the list. That man has zippo left in his bat. If Wade isn't on this team, then he sure shouldn't be either.

2019 was a long time ago. I haven't seen anything in a year that justifies any more patience.
Lol thank heavens for a WP and BB to a guy who hasn't swung at anything all year. Not pitching to Stanton there seemed daft. He ain't hitting. I had little hope that any Yank would get a hit after Judge and unfortunately I was correct. And now Chappy walks a tomato can to get to Heredia. PHEW Yanks win
Chapman looks so much better this year. Strong and offspeed stuff is legit.
Bats still suck. Swinging wildly, no thought process it seems, at the plate or before it. DJLM, Judge and Gio is about it.
Taillon is a solid 4.
