Rhamondre Stevenson (RB, OU) in the 4th. Plays faster than his 40 time, has the ability to make people miss or truck them, and can take some of the short yardage carries that'll help keep Saquon healthy.
I took Stevenson in the 3rd round, in my draft ...
I like this guy in the 6th or 7th rounds (as an upgrade over Penny). Mason reminds me of Old School type FBs - think the Packers' Jim Taylor (back when).
Talk about reprising the Giants' "Baby Bulls" tradition - Saquon (230+), Stevenson (250+) and this guy (250+)

It was a nice nickname, but the bulls had careers more suited to milk cows, lol. None of them had 2000 career rushing yards.
when we drafted him. They said at the time that he might have been the best player in the country at 6-7 positions, including defense. Such a shame when he injured his knee.

Agree that Giants need a drafted RB, the position doesn't even have options(unlike edge which has unproven options) , I just don't know if the value there in 3 is worth it. I love Mason in RD6 for specials and short yardage needs. He's a bigger FB then they have on roster and he probably can add more a bit more muscle. The other guys max out ~ 240 he is more ~260.
6 draft picks and we basically only use FB on specials -- not sure I see the point.
Two Michigan guys I AM interested in are TE Nick Eubanks and CB Ambry Thomas. We are pretty full at those positions, yes, but they both have upside and need a year of acclimation anyway. Be great gets to have waiting in the wings.
Can he catch the ball out of the backfield and can he fill-in at TE occasionally? Versatility would be key. Looks like the "battering ram" we need in short yardage / goal line situations.
After 2 practices with the kid he came out and told me "I think we have an NFL player here". Raved about him his entire time there, so I'm rooting hard for Ben to make it.

Oh really? I probably know them... lol. Yeah he was like a man among boys, in a pretty strong football program at Newtown. In HS he was primarily a LB. He's phucquing huge... lol. Nice kid from a nice family.

Yeah, not to give away names on the message board but he was a defensive coach who's last name starts with P and his brother was also on the staff. He raved about Mason from day one and actually thought he'd stick at LB at the college level.
FWIW I"m sure his time on the defensive side of the ball will make him a ++ special teamer.

Ha cool. Yeah he was a good tough MLB, but he was also a pretty good TE from what I remember, I was surprised to see Harbauagh put him at FB, but it makes sense. He is just a bull. He was big in HS, but it's crazy how much bigger he is now. He is really good short yardage back for Mich. Ha it would be so cool to see him play for the Giants. The odds are pretty low I would think but cool to think about.

At the 3:25 point of the highlights, he catches a ball and then jumps over the defender (seen in the photo); he even played a little LB for Michigan.
All-purpose kind of guy; I sure he's solid on special teams. Has to be worth a 7th round pick.
